+The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) visits Lugansk, see first hand indiscriminate shelling of areas with no military objective. Thanks to Kai Vittrup for going there to see first hand, it had to be very difficult for him. He arrived at noon and began to look at damage, shortly thereafter he was surrounded by a hundred people handing him shrapnel telling their stories. At one point a woman carries out a pink stuffed rabbit completely soaked in a child's blood and asks him to take to Poroshenko
( one of the comments there that sums it all up more or less)
Preview "boiler" in which the Ukrainian military suffered casualties. Trying to close the border with Russia turned military encirclement Ukrainian troops.
Ironic things happening there by the border since it's the real hot point now. I have to say I think Rossiya has taken the initiative in succeeding in turning the perception of the Ukrainian army not as protector of its 'own' but as a rogue army killing civilians. The strategy seems to be working to the detriment of the Ukrainian state. But Rossiya has much on its hands for inflaming the crisis. There is a price for separatism......much much more violence and killing and hate.
The fields are being deathly sowed my friends.
Seems that people from the western part of Ukraine finally started to realize that something is wrong. I am wondering, how soon people will understand who is who?
(I wish someone could have looked into the story about the human organs trade - what that was all about.
Now "fake images" used for the purposes of propaganda - that's not such big deal, because #1 - there are enough of "real" images and number two - Russians themselves from what I see from comments on-line can distinguish the images from Chechen war from Ukrainian events, and they do express their doubts when they feel that reports don't make much sense. Like with that child for example that was "nailed to the board" in Slavyansk, reportedly.
OSCE representatives in Lugansk 15.07.14
I didn't make translation, most talks there are in English, but I want to mention a few points:
Russian border too far, you can immediately dismiss all charges that shots were made from Russia (yes, Ukrainian TV already has imagined Russian army in LPR)
There are no militias, as the locals say, and they couldn't (and wouldn't- there are their homes too) shoot as well
The OSCE representative acknowledged that around are no military installations, so shots were made in buildings where live usual, peaceful civilians. People blame only Ukrainian army and curse Poroshenko, Yatseniuk and other membes of new Ukrainian so called government.
Ukrainian soldiers from the boiler "Izvarino" surrendered to Russian border guards! They were taken to the hospital and received medical treatment.
