It seems that the West saw that Russians stubbornly continue to hold Ukraine and West decided not to bring the conflict to a military confrontation (I think, that this is right decision, the West can not defeat the Russians in Ukraine. If necessary, Russians as soon as possible hurl there a huge amount of weapons and easy to close the sky). West does not want to seriously help the Ukrainian economy without guarantee proper policy. And now such guarantees can not be obtained. Therefore, Ukraine waiting for a very difficult time. Society is divided, war destroyed economy.

"Financial Maidan" in Kiev Violently Dispersed by Riot Police - Fort Russ

Quote:
Earlier in the day, Kiev mayor Klichko accused the demonstrators of being "Russian provocateurs" and expressed puzzlement as to why anyone would protest higher utility costs and prices, as well as lower wages. Then he unleashed riot police on the demonstrators.

Over 3,000 in Debaltsevo cauldron.
Can it be true?
No. Those figures are ridiculous.

187 tanks would be a weak armoured division, which is the largest individual composition of a military unit. The only armoured division Russia has in peacetime is 4th Guards Tank, which has around 300 tanks in its complement. It's highly likely that Ukraine didn't even had 187 tanks operational when the war started. 124 APC's is roughly half a mechanised brigade, and 110 artillery pieces a couple of divisions worth. An artillery battalion has 18 barrels most commonly, when the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, the only unit the US has left in Europe has 24 mobile pieces. 24 MRLS again... well whole of Finland has maybe 30 MRLS. 278 mortars is just incomprehensible, there is not such an unit(s) existing which would be that mortar-heavy. There are nations in Europe who doesn't even have 280 mortars. 500 tons of munitions... you would fight a year with that.

Those are pure fantasy, they are Kursk-figures. The whole ATO consists of roughly 50k soldiers, which is roughly two divisions and two brigades. No division or brigade can rely on that much equipment.

The whole war has caused around 5500 killed, civilians included. The Dumbass separatists, redarded as they are, just looked on wikipedia what the Soviets captured in Stalingrad and put a similar number. Also, it's a good reason to deny Russia's involvement, when they can say "wje cjapture tjis in Djebaltseve". In reality maybe a couple of hundred lives were lost, the retards captured 1 APC and 2 mortars which they are desperately trying to make functional.

I don't think Russia could have done any differently, I don't think that they even needed the war in Ukraine. To Russians that war hold no purpose. They could not, not help the East Ukraine. And I think they would be happy to see the hostilities come to an end. Without the war, Russians hold all the muscles in any negotiations with Ukraine and have a base of voters who would vote for a pro-Russian candidate. Simply put, all the pro-Russian fighters can now go to Kiev and and re-enact Maidan only screaming down with Poroshenko...

Liar. You watch Russian TV etc. and you choose to lie anyway, just like your Fuhrer. Why? Russian TV, Media and Internet are owerflowing with the messages of hate towards the West (and especially USA), towards Ukraine and Ukrainians unwilling to submit the Reich, it demonizes, it lies, it excites and prepares aggression and war. Russian social media is one big pathology of homo sapiens specie, it's nothing but the concentrated paranoia, manias, unabridged nazism, hatred towards the world. A sane, descent person cannot watch Russian TV, period, it's an insult to everything that makes us human. A Russian social media will drive you crazy, it's like Orks with internet access, it's overflowing with insanity and hate. Four Russian regulars in this thread is a good example of what viewings Russian media can do to human beings.

Inside Putin

More than a decade later, that movie is increasingly dark and disturbing. The first thing Russian militias do when they take a town in East Ukraine is seize the television towers and switch them over to Kremlin channels. Soon after, the locals begin to rant about fascists in Kyiv and dark U.S. plots to purge Russian speakers from East Ukraine. It’s not just what they say but how they say it that is so disturbing: irrational spirals of paranoia, theories so elaborate and illogical one can’t possibly argue with them.

Ironically, Russian Regime acts like a dystopian fascist regime on the post-apocalyptic planet Saraksh in "The Inhabited Island", a story by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky (famous soviet writers). The regime was using stationary and mobile towers emitting a special kind of radiation to brainwash the citizens' into loyalty to the regime no matter the personal costs. The parallels are astounding. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...6YW3HWK55XCGG2

I wonder what would Obama do after an imminent Russian attack in the coming Spring? Expressing the gravest concern is a definite possibility, that should show Putin that USA really means it this time.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's aim was not to seize all of Ukraine but to carve out territory linking up with the Crimean peninsula, which was annexed by Moscow last year after the fall of a pro-Moscow leader in Kiev, James Clapper told lawmakers.

"He wants a whole entity composed of the two oblasts (regions) in eastern Ukraine which would include a land bridge to Crimea and perhaps a port in specifically Mariupol.

"We do not believe that an attack on Mariupol is imminent. I believe they will wait until the spring before they attack."
