If you have been watching Ukraine this past year, you should have come to a conclusion that YOU HAVE NO IDEA where Ukraine Ends and Russia begins

In my humble opinion Russia and West should divide Ukraine equally. Equal in Russian is Rovno. And there is a city in Ukraine called Rovno So east of Rovno is the great Russ and west of Rovno is da mongrel state.

Sincerely,

Dmitry of Kievan Russ

But really, and jokes aside. There is a fact and there is a spin. So your statement, is part fact and part spin.

The part that is fact is that Ukraine is to weak to defend itself from anybody. Saying this fact in other terms while thinking that Ukraine is also so weak economically, we can say that "Ukraine can not sustain itself as a sovereign nation."

Or I can play your game, and that's where I say "Russians are trying to help and west is interfering."

Choice A and choice B.

If we take choice B, we will argue for another 12 pages.

If we agree on statement A, we can have a productive conversation about Ukraine's future.

I am going to go google "awesome tanks" while you guys decide.

Don't you follow Ukraine news ?

By Pravda, are you talking about Ukrainian news agency Pravda the one that is owned by proshenklo ?
"This is common knowledge" is a poor reference. There are lots of the weird things that are common "knowledge" among the people affected by the Russian propaganda. I need references, links to the Ukrainian laws, third party witness accounts of the ban etc., anything pointing to the ban of the Russian language in Ukraine. You just shamelessly make up stuff. Please no proven Russian propaganda mouthpieces like Russia Today, Life News, RT, etc.

I gave a reference to the antisemitism.org that is unaffiliated with 50% Jewish president of Ukraine, CFCA - Putin praises Goebbels at meeting with Jewish leaders. You need to click at that link, at the bottom of the page there is a video of Putin saying that and much more. Yes, your Fuhrer did praise Goebbels as a talented man, there is no doubt about that. Almost everything else Putin said is so applicable to the Russian regime he's created. The only only thing I'm not sure whether Putin is a cold blooded psychopath lying through his teeth or he's a lunatic who doesn't want to see the similarities between his Russia today and Germany/Stalinist USSR 70 years ago.

Russian nazis and the Russian speaking traitors Putin employed in his hybrid aggression against Ukraine make no secret about what they want: total Russification of everything to fit in the "Russian world" that Putin builds. Education in LNR/DNR is to be 100% russified starting this January, Russian textbooks, Russian curriculum, Russian instruction language, Russian everything, all the subjects related to Ukraine, Ukrainian language, history, literature are to be outlawed. Russian nazis took their masks off.

âÃÂáá: ÃÅ“ÃµÃ¶Ã´ÑƒÃ½Ã°Ñ€Ã¾Ã´Ã½Ã°à ‘ Ã¿Ã°Ã½Ã¾Ñ€Ã°Ã¼Ã° - á 12 ÑÂýòðрѠòÑÂõ шúþûы ò Ã¿Ñ€Ã¾Ã²Ã¾Ã·Ã³Ã»Ã°ÑˆÃµÃ½à ½Ã¾Ã¹ ÛÃÂÃ* ýðчøýðют ÿõрõхþô ýð рþÑÂÑÂøùÑÂúøõ ÑÂтðýôðрты

Ukrainians are not the only one that have issues with "Russian speaking" bits of the former Soviet Empire, every former Soviet republic has/had the very same issues Ukraine has (not speaking of the ethnic "Republics" in the Russian Federation). Russian and Soviet Empires used Russian nazism as a cement. When Russian speakers say they want to protect Russian language, it usually doesn't mean what it says. For a typical Russian, who grew up in the all permeating culture of the sublime Russian superiority and nazism, it usually means that a Russian speaker has all the rights: not to learn the language of a country/"republic" he lives in, to be provided with the means to avoid using native language(s) for any purpose, to be protected from encountering the native language(s) in the public sphere, and (not emphasized but few can hide it) to be able to insult local languages and local people speaking in those languages, because a Russian superman is so much above those savages and their "primitive" languages, it's his duty as a Russian to point to that fact.

Appears that "Government" forces keep going over to the Separatists, and giving up their weapons
. I guess the Russians are doing that too? Your comical.

After Yanukovich fled (for no clear reasons), parliament of Ukraine (which was elected during Yanukovich reign) became a legitimate power source for the country according to the law. Ukrainian constitution didn't foresee a president fleeing to Russia and accepting Russian citizenship. Ukrainian parliament ordered a legitimate and universally recognized (by the Russian Federation including) presidential elections. Poroshenko was elected as a new president. After that parliament was reelected. Ukraine has a legitimate government. Only a pathological Russian nazi would call maidan protests "thugs took control by force at gun point". How many guns btw, what kind of guns? Any rocket missile launchers, tanks, artillery pieces? Does it compare to 1000 of the armored vehicles alone Russia keeps in Donbass at this point in time? Russian supplied enormous quantities of weapons, materials, troops and nazi volunteers to fight this war, Ukraine doesn't have that much weapons to give up. It's been almost 1 year of the large scale mechanized "rebellion", it takes reliable supplies of everything to sustain that kind of warfare, otherwise it would be the first large scale armored "rebellion" in human history. I don't believe in Santa Claus to believe in that.

BTW, looks like comrade Putin ordered invasion at the time Yanukovich was still in power.

Muratov said the document characterized then Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych as “a person without morals and willpower whose downfall must be expected at any moment.” Yanukovych fled Ukraine for Russia on Feb. 22, 2014.

Muratov said the Russian document appears to have been drafted between Feb. 4 and Feb. 15 last year. He said the overall strategy included plans on how to break Ukraine into automonmous sectors, immediately attaching now war-torn southeastern Ukraine to Moscow’s tax union, with a longer term plan for annexation.

The plan suggested “the main thrust should be Crimea and the Kharkhiv region, with the aim of initiating the annexation of the eastern regions.”

When an aspiring politician is offed it's a good thing. Universally. Seems to me that throughout history common people tend to get along with one another until a politician gets involved.

Just sayin'.

What?! I'm reading on FB now that Nemtzov is killed?!
A benign politician - not a threat to Putin at all.
It rather reflects the mood of the society in Moscow overall; no Maidan in any shape and form after Ukrainian events. A clear message sent to opposition.
Just wow. Still can't believe it happened.
