Seems to be fighting around Peski and east of Mariupol, small but still happening. All this firing is most likely probes and just the usual shenanigans. If I were the NAF (DNR/LNR) commanders I would certainly be trying to probe that Nazi Guard and Azov positions in order to find the locations and assess the strength of the opposition.

Latest from OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine based on information received as of 18:00 (Kyiv time), 12 March 2015 | OSCE

I'm certain the NAF is going after Mariupol.

Quote:
At 07:15hrs, the SMM heard in Berdianske (government-controlled, 98km south of Donetsk, 18km east of Mariupol) an exchange of small arms fire, originating mostly from easterly and westerly directions, at the south of SMM’s position. It soon became an intensive exchange of fire (both outgoing and incoming), involving mortar, tank, anti-aircraft and heavy machine gun fire. The SMM heard mortar shells, calibres ranging from 120mm to 82mm, being fired from a westerly towards an easterly and north-easterly direction. The SMM heard 15 tank shells fired from a north-easterly direction towards the south-east, the direction of Shyrokyne (“DPR”-controlled, 97km south of Donetsk, 20km east of Mariupol). The outgoing and incoming fire continued until 13:00hrs. The SMM observed two tanks (T-64), located approximately 600m north-east of its position and saw these tanks firing more than 20 rounds into the direction of Shyrokyne.
Ukrainians will not cooperate with the SMM officers.

Quote:
At a Ukrainian Armed Forces checkpoint at Volnovakha (51km south-south-west of Donetsk), the SMM was stopped and denied passage. The patrol was held at the CP for two hours.

- At a Ukrainian Armed Forces checkpoint north of Mariupol a SMM patrol was not allowed to pass. When the team tried to explain the role of the SMM, referring to relevant documents, the commander tapped his assault rifle and stated that here, "Mr. Kalashnikov decides who goes where". The team decided not to argue with the commander and aborted their patrol.

Scrat must have received a bonus check from the Kremlin. The propgaganda is coming fast and furious. Was Putin finally located or something?

Back to the real world, Poland is now mobilizing to defend itself against Russian aggression. They're preparing for possible Russian invasion. Let's see if Putin, if he's still alive, and there hasn't yet been a Kremlin coup, is crazy enough to invade Poland next.

What's propaganda in my posts? The conditions of the MH-17 are widely known, Ukraine has signed weapons contracts with several powers in Europe. Is this a lie? The OSCE post is from the freaking OSCE website and that guy did die. I may have added my own commentary but anyone with good sense would go after the meat. I'll freely admit my post on Mariupol is speculation and nothing more. I am confident though that the NAF want that city.

What do you Ariete, Rememberme and Nola really contribute? Not a hell of a lot.

My guess is that he is sick, and in hiding. Dictators need to be portrayed as "strong", so a bedridden Putin would be bad for his image. It would be best if he simply had died, and the world would be freed of this tyrant, but I'm guessing we'll have to wait for his demise.

But it was hilarious that the Russian propaganda machine yesterday sought to "disprove" the missing Putin by "reporting" he was meeting with Lebedev. Only problem was that the video they showed on TV was from last October! Oops! Propaganda is much harder in the internet age, dear Kremlin propagandists.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/putins...150453763.html

And here are some theories on why Putin has gone "missing".

Yahoo!
Gawd you people are clueless; you think Putin is bad, a tyrant, etc, yet your knowledge of Russian politics is so little, you have absolutely zero idea who the second and third largest political parties in Russia are, and just how absolutely horrible the leaders of those parties are. Putin and a few others are the only people standing in the way of these parties obtaining power, yet for some reason you support this. This alone shows you have little, 10 second media clip, knowledge of Russia, and have a very shallow understnaidn gof anything past clips on Fox news or CNN every now and then.

I find it odd how you proclaim Putin as a dictator and a tyrant, yet support even worse leaders coming to power.

Poland is being stupid and doing this to distract from its own domestic issues. There is absolutely zero evidence/chance/will/want/need, of Russia attacking Poland. The very idea is is ridiculous. However, the issue creates a great distraction for domestic problems in Poland, common political trick every country, including the US and Russia, uses.

What, it is the poster's fault that people like you are on here discussing in depth with self presumed "great knowledge" about countries in which you do not even know the language of?
