How about Putin and his minions staying home where they belong, instead of invading and doing their best to destroy a peaceful sovereign country, contrary to all treaties, agreements, and generally civilized behavior?
Same can be said for the EU and US. Look at where the Ukrainians are today. You have no argument.

And what do you think are interests of Russian people?
Stability. If things are stable then people can live their lives and create/build things have children, families no matter what kind of government is in charge. Look at Libya before the "Arab Spring".

Things like Russia in the 90s, Libya and Ukraine today are what the west has to offer it seems to me.

Economy of Ukraine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 2013 between 1/3 and 1/4 of Ukraine's economy was based on trade with Russia, 12% of Ukraine's economy was based on Trade with EU.

That link has a table: "List of major private owned companies" What % of Ukraine's industry came from Donbass region ? That's the area where Proshenko shelled, is it not ?

So basically in the past year Ukraine has destroyed it's own future, It's industry and it's economy, while screaming "Salo Ykraine".

My guess would be that he(they) are looking for allies in Moscow.
Because in spite of all the howling of Ukrainian nationalists that Ukrainians are "true Slavs of first grade," while Russians are "mongrels of second grade," some people in Kiev do realize that it's not about "1/2nd grades," but about politics in Moscow.

Putin's brownshirts in action. Moscow 2015. A single protester is attacked by a nazi "anti-maidan" brownshirts gang, beaten and shot in the face with a traumatic weapon. I am all ears for the Russian nazi residents of this thread defending this vicious attack as a proof of the Russian benevolence and "anti-fascism" (unlike that evil Ukrainian Pravii Sector Russian resident-comrades demonized using nothing by sheer power of the propaganda twisted imagination). I am pretty sure much more barbarity to come. Russian fascism is hatched by comrade Putin, as it matures it will need more subsistence than a gang attack followed by the shot in a face.

BTW, a low power traumatic revolver is a really bad self-defense weapon against a gang attack.

This video depicts some-one with Ukrainian markings shooting some with Gregorivsky cross in Moscow. Not sure how this video helps your cause.

The Russian protestors in this video are talking about calling police.

That video depicts a gang of "anti-maidan" brownshirts attacking a single protester who's made an attempt on self-defense but he was overrun and shot in the face. Somebody in background talks about calling police, and expressing disbelief over the gang shooting that man in his face, just like that, apparently it's not yet common in Moscow 2015. Russians are better to get used to it. Russian nazis defend and glorify the horrors of the Stalin regime, it's only natural you defend Putin regime and its brownshirts, I am not surprised.
