But that literally can be solved by just...sorting the list. Even I spent a slow work day sorting us on this forum by log numbers, unit size, and the dates we received hold list emails??? I wouldn't be so pressed if not for the fact that I *MAYBE* might be SO CLOSE to being in the next batch or 2!!
They also "can't tell" how many people are ahead of a person on the hold list, because according to my specialist, each specialist has their own hold lists. My specialist did tell me how many people were also waiting for 1-bedrooms on their list (about 80), but that's not all that helpful without knowing how many people are waiting across all the hold lists and whether there is overlap between the lists or not. I can only extrapolate based on my log# (15xx) and the fact that the most recent reports on here that 1-bedrooms have been awarded to those with log#s in the 1000s that there are somewhere between 80-500 people ahead of me. My assumption is that with drop out and folks waiting for 2-3 bedrooms instead, my actual number is probably somewhere around 200-300.

Has anyone received an email stating that they are disqualified from the wait list due to not submitting any paperwork?

I was initially emailed back in January for a 1 bedroom, spoke to Syed and he told me that I will be placed on a wait list and Ms. Pryce will contact me once my number is reached. He told me in email to NOT submit documents at this time. So I held off, waiting to get called to submit. Now I just received an email stating that I have been disqualified because I didn't submit paper work in time. But I never received any emails from Ms. Pryce or anyone. So I'm confused. Emailed them to appeal but no answer, now going to call them this week and see if anyone can assist me.

Unfortunately this happened to alot of us. When it happened to me I called and emailed vigorously and miraculously one day someone picked up. Its was Ms Pryce and she said she didnt know how it got sent out. The Stuytown people seem very disorganized and never really provide concrete answers. Just keep calling back. Or take a trip down there.

That's very confusing, I thought to be added to the waitlist you had to have your initial documents approved. There is much room for improvement with their system. I submitted everything but since the timeframe is so long I know I will likely have to do it all over again by the time my number (hopefully!) comes up for an available apartment.

It seems to be moving very slowly right now, I reached out to my landlord about doing a month to month extension, will see what they say. The likelihood of this happening by July seems slim.

I submitted paperwork on 2/18.
Only spoke to Syed (nicest and most helpful person apparently according to my experience and what I've read here)
I have never received any calls, emails from my Occupancy Specialist, until today, probably because she saw my phone number in their caller ID, calling non-stop all morning. haha

Good morning/Afternoon,

Thank you for your continued interest in the Stuytown lottery. Please know if you’re still interested in a one bedroom or two Bedroom. We are having issues with inventory renovations (currently availability) so you may have go on hold for a one or two bedroom. If you already submit you may need to updated documentation.

Hope this is helpful as well for others waiting.

Please send good vibes because this situation has me stressed out.

Thank you, this is helpful. It's so nerve wracking to hear there are issues with inventory due to renovation issues. it would be so helpful just to have an approximate timeframe.

Is the salary taken into account to see if you are under the annual maximum cap based on your W2 and tax returns?

Just received another email with the exact same wording from Ms. Pryce. Not sure what's going on since they don't respond or pick up the phone. I email back stating my interest but I'm losing hope that this is going to happen
