Last Friday I received an email to submit documents and realized it was from my application to the Fall 2018 lottery. Honestly I don't even remember what my application was back then if it was for a 1bd or 2bd, but I'm wondering if I submit my docs and still qualify will it still be ok? Or can I only move forward with what I provided at that time?
Also, is anyone else going through the same thing w/ the 2018 lottery and have some insight on the timeline? Not sure how the 2018 wait list applicants are processed vs. the 2021 lottery.
I really can’t answer your questions, sorry, but I’m wondering if they sent you a list the price ranges for each size apartment. The 2021 lottery is the only one that is truly affordable, so are they processing you for this lottery or the 2018 one?
The email included an attachment for the 2021 lottery prices, so I'm assuming that's the one but again am also unsure. I'm planning to submit documents anyways and will see how the process goes.
The previous lotteries had most of the apartments in a true 165% bracket, which is expensive, about $2,900 for a one-bedroom, and only a small fraction of units reserved for 80% earners (around $1,500 for a one-bedroom).
Hi all, I just finished submitting a request for documents with a log #4*** from 2021. So, after skimming thru, are they nowhere even near actually calling this log for a 2BR apartment?? It seems they are calling around the 2000s after a long wait and even people from 2018!!! I've been all hyped about making this decision to move within a 5-day period, sight unseen, no less, so worried about finding parking in the area, and it appears highly unlikely this will happen at all this year, if ever. Is there something I've missed? Appreciate any updated info. Thanks!
Hi... I am on the higher end of 2### number. It's such a nonsense that they are still processing papers as high as 4### log when they sent us email that there aren't any 1 or 2 bedroom available at the moment...unless a big batch is coming after the summer?
Good luck to us all.

2 bedrooms seemed to be going pretty smoothly though I’m not sure they’re quite up to 4XXX yet. I’m 31XX for a 1 bedroom. I believe a few pages back someone with a 34XX for a 2 bedroom got contacted to submit papers but yeah… a lot of us are on hold list for units and now the renovation halt has us all screwed. I was so excited to think *maaaayyybeeee* at best august I might get offered a unit. Realistically more like late this year/early next year unless a big batch comes thru this summer, best of luck to us all
@loloknow. I am waiting for a 2 bedroom. Where you told by Stuytown that it is going smoothly for a 2bedroom? The email they sent last week clearly states they have issues with 1 and 2 bedrooms.
