Acceptance of violence as a means of social interaction should properly be taught at home, behind closed doors and in front of the children. This practice has shown excellent results in producing maladjusted, paranoid, depressed, and serially violent children who become career criminals and a persistent danger to society

Seems 88%+ of those that took the poll here feel that government should not outlaw spanking as a form of punishment -

IMO, this is a good thing

Oh for gods sake?????????????????? career criminals...persistent danger to society....?????? Producing maladjusted paranoid depressed violent children...man, your talkin about people who were beat up and abused...

I was spanked, and I'm not violent, or a danger to society...although I do burp now and then????

Acceptance of violence....???????

VIOLENCE
1.rough or injurious physical force, action, or treatment: to die by violence. 2.an unjust or unwarranted exertion of force or power, as against rights or laws: to take over a government by violence.

A spanking on a padded diapered toddler is a swat on the behind...hardly a force of injurious action or to die by violence????????

Yanno, to debate an issue is one thing but to Blantenly Exaggerate, so, does not prove your point.

Indeed it is, I'm relieved....trouble with this country is, I think so many people are angry and they tackle little issues to eliviate they're inability to tackle the bigger issues? It makes them feel like they are doing something...but in the end, when you expect the government to do your thinking for you, there is something really wrong...expecially when these laws are already on the books. There are flaws in our systems....now that is an issue to tackle. Our child welfare systems...
