BTW, if your assumptions are true then it would indicate that the majority of people out there are not accepting of homosexuality since the LGBT community is committing suicide at far greater rates than straight people. If this is SOLELY because they are being bullied and treated as outcasts then society is not embracing their lifestyle. You can't have it both ways.
Just this fall in Colorado a fourth grader came out as gay. He was bullied so badly he committed suicide.

Your constant berating of gays is part of the reason they want to kill themselves. But you go ahead and tell your god it's not your fault. I'm thinking you would burn in hell for just thinking the kind of crap you do. You have some serious mental health issues that keep you doing all you can to drive other people to suicide.
if i may make a suggestion to the mod here.....perhaps it's time to shut this thread down as it is devolving into nothing more than a shouting match between both parties and that's not going to achieve anything positive. both sides obviously have their opinions and feelings regarding this issue and there certainly will not be any conciliatory conversations that will come from this.

I berate no one. I never have and never would tell someone even a gay person that they are going to burn in hell. That's a new low for you, and I really have nothing more to say to you since I've used the term "disgusting" way to often to describe your posts.

There is nothing more to learn here. We answered the question of the OP a long time ago. Now it's all about just wanting to run us down and talk trash. But at least it shows the depth of ugliness and venom that exists on your side of the fence.

What it shows me, is that ignorant bigots are everywhere, at every age. Most of them learned to be that way from their ignorant bigot parents. The fact that you think the problem is the gay child, and not the society that he lives in, is the problem. You lack empathy, even if you try to fake it.

true, but as you can see, the tone has drifted into nothing more than posting ugly comments. there comes a time when the conversation just escalates into more anger that's generated between both parties and that doesn't serve any useful purpose for anyone involved, participant or reader.

Bigotry and the bullying of gays is a huge concern to some. And virtually all of it stems from those who use their bibles to bludgeon. Fundamentalist Christians are dangerous and their poisonous rot must be neutralized.
Threads like this expose them for the tiny-minded, bigoted bullies they are.
Methinks it makes you uncomfortable because you see yourself. You could always consider no longer reading it.
