Because of the weather I busted out a bunch of leftover soups and stews, and now it is sunny and hot....

Hot apple cider to drink.
Good choice!

I'm having the warm apple cider too, and we are eating on the screened in porch to see the kiddos. A little rainy, but warm for late October.

There will be a reduction in our supply of chili as we will have chili over brown rice with an English cucumber, sweet onion, and a fresh tomato salad. Drinking root beer.

Turkey burgers on flat bread [Sandwich Thins], sliced tomato, sweet onion, flat bread and butter pickle, ground peppercorn, and mayo with avocado. To drink, I had a Snapple Apple.

Dessert: a couple Butterfinger PB cups from the bag of mixed candies. These are my new faves

Valiantly keeping my fingers out of the candy bowl and making myself IP salmon filet with zucchini and brown rice. Sadly, I was diagnosed with medication-induced hypertension today, so I'm now on a very strict low-salt, low-sugar diet. Of course this has to happen on Halloween!

I seldom cook on Halloween night. There are a lot of trick or treaters in my neighborhood, so takeout is more practical.

From In-N-Out Burger: cheeseburger with onions, fries and a Coke. Taking a break from beer tonight.
