No this is dripping from inside the pipe. I get nothing this time of the year but fairly constant (at least once a minute) during the monsoon.

Look at all those folks who move down to Florida...it's hot and humid down there in the summer and they eventually adapt to where they think 70 degrees requires a parka...LOL
You may be in luck as it’s likely to be less of a dry heat as it’s looking like the monsoon may fire up next week. So you can expect some humidity and the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms.

Big ol' dust storm last night, lots of downed foliage, and a 60 degree sticky dew point this morning. Monsoons are officially here.

I already miss the dry heat but I saw it rained in the high country so it’s hard to not be happy about the positives! It looks like more rain up north every day for the next 10 as well, hallelujah!

I know people back east would love to just feel DPs under 50 for the whole year. We get it for only a few months, thankfully
Don't you get temps in the mid 90s with dew points of 72-73 during the monsoon season? Those dew points are comparable to Dallas and Atlanta average dew points.

While the dew points are higher than usual during monsoon I have never seen them as high as those in Dallas or Atlanta. We get around 40-50% and people out here act like it's the worst thing ever! I smile because growing up back east I know better.😊

I thought you sometimes see dewpoints exceed 70 in Phoenix; is that true?

The dripping has begun!

I recall my first encounter with perfect humidity and perfect temperature, on childhood visits to San Diego and Hawaii. But outside these outliers, humidity sucks. It makes cold colder and hot hotter. I like the arid West.
