I appreciate the way that many of us have learned to speak like Arizonans about clouds & rain (etc)!

Willo area in PHX is currently at 88 degrees, with grotesque 72% humidity accompanied by a disgusting 78 degree dewpoint. Ladies and gentlemen, that is downright tropical weather. There are too many people on here who call me insane saying our humidity and dewpoints "never rival whats out east or down south", but you're dead wrong. Remember this conversation.

No crap. I don't know how people tolerate Houston, New Orleans, Orlando, etc. Perhaps that's why we're getting a huge influx of people from those states. I guess they're done with it, too.

Nice source, thanks. Some of these reports are questionable, though. Muse Apartments is clearly bad data. It claims to be 9 degrees cooler than nearby stations.

I have a 97 degree heat index at my weather station. It is much worse than a dry 97, that is for sure.

It’s been like that in South Dakota probably 20 days this summer which is certainly way more than Phoenix. I’m not talking the deep South and I’m not talking the Great Lakes. . I’m talking the Great Plains.

I’m glad you found a day or two or three. LOL

Whats your point?

My point is that PHX can and does get more humid or equally humid as other places, which many people on here refuse to believe. I'm tired of the "oh, our humidity is never as bad as Iowa/Florida/NY/Boston,etc", but weather data proves it easily can be. And this entire week has been super humid, not just a day or two. Every morning stepping outside feels like walking into a hot, wet towel.

But if you want to throw random weather facts out there, I bet South Dakota has also had 40+ days of temps 85 or below this summer, too, of which we've had none. But anyways, carry on.
