Since this seem to be a recurring problem, what can I do to make connections with women?

sigh....did they really "reject" you, or did they just say thanks but no thanks when you asked them out?

You can't really force a connection.

Either it's there or it isn't.

"Last five girls that have rejected me have said they felt no connection with me"

Lack of connection is not rejection....

Under what circumstances did you ask them out? Cold approach? Did you know them from class or some shared activity? Were they friends or siblings of friends?

Cause whining and sniveling is easy........ taking actions after a few failures is harder work.....

Right on.

Dude, you went out with 5 women.

You are ahead of the curve.

Continue to get yourself out there.

Continue developing your conversation skills.

Try different things. See what works for you.

If they reject you...keep it moving.

There will be others.

Keep up the good work buddy!
