I really enjoyed the Red Bull Air Race last year. It was great! The vacation was so fun! I am finally getting used to the difficulty of finding a parking spot in SD(especially Del Mar, La Jolla) with my annual vacation there...lol

We headed back around 3:30 and there wasn't much traffic headed out. A friend went to Julian (where there was alot more snow) much earlier in the day (around 9:00am) and said by the time they left (around noon), the traffic headed towards Julian was ridiculous. I heard it was even worse the next day.

Great pics as usual sdurbanite! So great how you have one set from snowy mountains then another set of nice, sunny downtown/waterfront pics.

That's exactly what I love most about living here! Mountain snow, vast ocean, scorching desert, Mexico - we have it ALL

I loved your pictures. They make me miss San Diegowe visit every summer. This year I don't think we will be able to get out there. We are stuck in freezing MN. Just looking at your pictures makes me feel warm.

Don't even get me started on Florida. It is rainy, humid, buggy flat and full of old people. We here in SD are happy. Maybe you should post on the Florida forum.

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures. I'm originally from San Diego and now I live out of state. I'm very homesick and stuck in snow country. Maybe one day I will be able to return to one of Americas finest cities.

This is why "we locals" can't get parking spaces either
