Just relaxing in Quartzsite, not doing a lot.
Things start happening here later in the year and January.

I'm looking forward to WRTR and thinking of going to Howling sat the Moon after that.

I'm not sure though because it sounds like it could be a younger crowd and I don't know if I would fit in. I'll keep checking the posts. I certainly have nothing against young people but I don't have that kind of energy anymore.

Glad to hear that everything is going well with you. How has the weather been?

It's been windy today. Cold in the morning, warmer in the afternoon.

I've been talking with two of my brothers, one in Nashville and the other in Minnesota. Gosh, I love those guys!
The Nashville one says the weather is really different this year, temperatures up and down, the Minnesota one says it's cold, as can be expected.

From the weather 10 day report, it looks like it will be pretty nice, not too windy. Sounds good.

The winters we have stayed at Avi Casino RV Park, Dec & Jan were the coldest & most windy nights. Although, the days were sunny. Beautiful sunsets, sunrises.

It is cold morning and evening but warm by afternoon usually. It pales in comparison to the storms and tornadoes that swept across the south.

Weather has been bizarre everywhere it seems.

Two days of cloudy skies. Not used to this. I miss the sun.

It amazes me how quickly I became accustomed to the continual sunshine, taking it for granted.

It's supposed to be back tomorrow and I'm going to quit taking it for granted.

When I first got here, I was excited about the Meet at Q group and then realized that I couldn't park close to them because there are too many big dogs and Marigold would have been afraid to go out. I couldn't do that to her.

I think next year I will boondock rather than stay at a LTVA. I realized that I was very comfortable staying on BLM land at Pahrump.

Yes, it's kind of a hassle putting up and taking down tents every two weeks but doable. I'll see what happens at the WRTR. I hope to meet up with women from the Caravans and see if I can connect with them.
I'm thinking of maybe volunteering at the RTR but not certain. I enjoyed doing it at the BYOV but after enjoying free time for so long, it was hard to feel tied down.

I've become a hermit and enjoy my alone time, maybe too much. I don't know if that's such a bad thing.

Finally, sunshine!

It was a wierd weather night last night. Woke up to moisture everywhere and thought it must have rained but the Q groups say it was dense fog, not rain. Everything was wet though. My things are mostly in the tents so it was fine.

Talk of the town is that this has happened before but I've never seen it in my three years here. Now I can say I have
