Lol, Marigold is glaring at me right now. I still haven't left Pahrump but I am getting closer. Maybe tomorrow. Most things are packed up, except the shower/potty tent and the things I will carry inside the car.

I've been procrastinating, but there's still a lot of people here. I just figured if I left tomorrow I could take all my garbage to the dump and make one last Walmart run before heading out. The garbage run is the most important though.

Don't want stinky garbage in my car for very long and the dump is close by. Then just dismantle the shower tent and finish packing the car. Who knows,bI may stay another day, although I doubt it.

We'll see.

Why is Marigold glaring at me? I suppose it's because there's been too much activity or because it's hot or?? Who knows, only Marigold and she's not talking.

Still haven't left Pahrump. I was going to leave today but there's a wind advisory today and it is bad.

I should have left yesterday but I procrastinated. Looking at the weather yesterday, the wind wasn't supposed to start up until 11:00 am. Instead bit started during the night.

Oh well, my bad. It's supposed to stop about 11 tonight.

I'm glad I didn't take my garbage to the landfill like I was going to or the things I left out for the last minute would have been blown everywhere.

Hopefully I will get out of here tomorrow.

Your followers would still like to see some pics, Meo
(but no need to upload them the day they're taken).

Meo, I thought you were going to try to upload some this year?

I love following your adventures, even as just text, but photos would be wonderful if you can manage them.

I'm going to try. I just don't like being hassled about it.

There e gurus in Quartzsite but I have to find them and get to know them.

I know one person is a wonder at anything solar and power but I also know he's in great demand. And knowing those things doesn't mean he knows how to upload photos to city data.
It's easy for me to transfer them to Facebook but cdnis totally different.

I had a hard time with the ones I did do. So I just don't know how it's going to work. I'll just have to try.

The final week of BYOV has posted. I'm the one with a friend right after the pic of a cracker with something on it, whatever it was it looked good.

I plan to leave Pahrump today. The wind finally died down. It was raining though for a little while but that stopped thankfully.

It's so cold here!

Made it to Quartzsite. Was not a fun drive, intermittent sprinkles, cloudy and gloomy. But at least I'm here. The wind is bad but it's not the cold, cold wind like Pahrump had.

I'm happy you got to Q without any problems....

It was years ago, but the last time we parked the motorhome in the parking area at AVI Casino, for Thanksgiving, it was a beautiful day in the high 80's. I hope you get nice weather like that.

Avi Casino is right across the CO River from Bullhead City & Fort Mohave. I don't know if they still let folks park overnights there. I would think they do.

Have a Wonderful/ Safe Weekend...

I came close to following the Colorado River but decided to just get here. It was too dark and gloomy yesterday.

Today the sun is shining and it is still a bit chilly but I'm sure it will warm up soon. Gads I love Arizona!

I'm letting the sun recharge my Jackery and then have to go in search of a hammer to put up the tents and a rake for the rocks.

I've decided to stay where I am as Marigold seems to like it. It's close enough to the bathroom and the Q tent yet far enough so I've still got privacy when I need it.

Of course, it's still early in the season and I'm sure it will get more crowded but there are enough bushes around that people can't park too close.

My only concern is the two holes in the ground that are too big for mice, compared to the ones I've seen here but don't look big enough for coyotes. They actually look like the gopher holes I've seen elsewhere, but I've never seen gophers here in Quartzsite.
So I have no idea what caused them. A mystery to me.
