As Ukrainians flee the country it shows.

I can see it now. The IMF congratulating the Ukrainian government some day for handling its unemployment crisis so well. The people just leave the country like in Latvia and Lithuania. Problem solved. LOL!!!

Quite honestly ( from what I initially heard of him speaking,) Grudinin doesn't quite comprehend the whole scope of a problem in Ukraine. ( Overall international affairs are not his forte, even if he spends some time in Europe. He is much-much better on domestic front.)
The good thing about him though - he recognizes his weakness and relies on his advisers in these matters.
And his advisers are not only CPRF, but the wide range of the "left" forces, national-patriotic groups including. And some of them are definitely directly connected to Donbass. ( Overall a lot of dissatisfaction with Putin's policies are coming from that direction - from the "left.")
So the last thing Grudinin stated regarding Donbass, is that it would be "quite logical to satisfy the desire of Donbass population to join Russia, or at least to recognize their independence. They need to hold referendum and decide how do they want to go about it. Overall referendums and people voicing their opinions during them, are the most important thing."

Those goods are what? Warm bodies? Slave labor? I haven't confirmed this yet but there was a rumor that in Poland and some other EE countries young Ukrainian girls will work in the porn industry for next to nothing.

How's that for a success story?

I have heard the same thing about the Czech Republic and Poland, Hungary, Romania too in the past. I wonder if there's any merit to the scuttle butt on one hand but on the other there's a pattern.

Yes, the steady flow of people leaving in search of jobs goes mostly in two directions - either Russia or Poland.
