Yes because state of the art electric buses are pots and pans. Yuzhmash still produces aerospace components, including for American rockets. They have a lot of excess room since they don't build ICBM's anymore though.
But I get it, I knew it would make you guys hysterical to hear that eastern Ukraine is retooling and moving on from its sordid past with the barbarians to the east. I remember well when your propaganda told us Yuzhmash, the Kharkov tractor plant and Antonov all were finished. Yet they are working again (pandemic shutdowns not including). The only place in Ukraine failing is the part Russia controls in the Donbas. This aligns with Russian history which has many instances of making people on their own side suffer to get back at perceived enemies.
You could even do a search on this thread and find posts claiming Ukraine will no longer build buses, or trains, or etc after they chose Europe over Russia. Its all a long string of Russian lies from a jilted ex. I advise, get over it.
Nah, just trying to keep it real here, cutting through your usual la-la.
As in;
"KYIV, Ukraine - Ukraine is looking for a new central banker, but applicants beware..."
"The threats are hardly subtle. On Wednesday, a coffin and a row of extravagant funeral wreaths were near the home of Yakiv Smolii, who said he was forced out of the central bank's top post June 30 by systematic pressure..."
"...Now, Zelensky's government could face some serious fallout from those Ukraine needs most: supporters in Europe, the United States and global financial institutions."
"..Questions over political interference in the National Bank of Ukraine, the central bank, could threaten future International Monetary Fund support for Ukraine at a critical time. Ukraine's economy, hard hit by the pandemic, is projected by the government to shrink by 4.8% this year..."
"Leaks of confidential conversations involving Biden and former Ukraine president Petro Poroshenko - including a fresh batch made public Wednesday - have provided no major ammunition for Trump's campaign. But they underscore the unruly nature of Ukraine's politics and Zelensky's inability to control it."
And that's what I see there - the political situation spinning more and more out of control.
(Dubinsky is supplying good information as usual on the situation with the Central bank, and what's going on with country's finances.
He currently started running a campaign for the Kiev's mayor spot btw, but I don't think it's a good idea, since he already failed as a local governmental rep, running into the mafia wall, literally, and his constituents are well aware of that.)
So hang on DKM, I keep on watching what's developing there at this point, particularly when it comes to Sharij ( and the "Opposition Platform" kinda, but that's less important.)
P.S. There are definitely forces there, inside Ukraine, that want to change the course of colonization made possible with the help of the IMF loans.
Not sure that Kolomoysky is really the source of it though, as the article states it.
More shocking news from Ukraine.
And now I'm going for real.
They released the third part of Poroshenko's tapes, but this time around not Poroshenko/ Biden, but Poroshenko/Putin.
The chummy bargaining of Donbass ( and therefore people's lives there) going on between these two buddies is...how should I put it.. everyone will have to decide for themselves now I guess.
Well.. what I am trying to say here I guess - I always knew that Putin took over Crimea for obvious reasons, and he left Donbass in Ukraine as the bargaining chip.
What I didn't realize, was how CLOSE the interaction between Putin and Poroshenko really was, when the latter was playing a role of "Putin's hater" for Ukrainians.
But it became too scandalous, when the war ( supposedly *with Russia*) was raging on, while he was making money IN RUSSIA.
So back in 2015 his "financial troubles" began there, (looks like a long and complicated story,) and by 2017 it was completely closed.
Yet another Nazi attack today in Kharkov, on Sharij's party.
( This time around they arrived with guns to threaten people.
Two are beaten up and hospitalized.)
Police didn't show up (as usual cooperating with Nazi,) until they already left.
I've noticed they are particularly active in Kharkov and Odessa lately ( South-Eastern regions of Ukraine,) -the former voter base of Zelensky, where people are switching their support to different parties.
It's important to keep it all in mind before the upcoming election.
Ukrainian opposition demands President Zelensky resign over economic failure
The statement comes ahead of the Ukraine’s parliament voting on a bill cancelling upper limits on wages to state officials as required by the International Monetary Fund

And how well it all started.. Someone here, I remember, said that Ze will change everything, that with him the economy of Ukraine will jump forward.. "Let's catch up and overtake the damned Rashka!!"
We wanted as the best, but it turned out as always.

Ukraine has few if any choices in the matter. Europeans are not going to hurt themselves to help. Russia doesn't need them anymore and they certainly don't need the burdens Ukraine carries.
Hilarious how 20 years behind Ukraine is politically compared to other countries in eastern europe, in bulgaria massive protest started some 2 days ago which is heavily anti-eu/anti-nato while in Ukraine they protest to get in the eu and nato lol.

Yes, but this still leaves one force that is very persistent and aggressive behind it all.
That is the US government ( or "deep state" as it's referred to now,) and NATO.

Both protests are and were based on anti corruption. Same with the ones in Russia. You and I both know that Bulgaria's president is supported by the former communists (with Russian sympathies) and the current PM is part of the pro EU coalition. Just because he's pro EU, doesn't mean he's anti corruption (this is actually the same situation Poroshenko was in Ukraine). Just because the socialists are spearheading the protesting against his corruption, doesn't mean that the majority of Bulgarians are anti EU/NATO. In fact the USA has come out in support of the protests.
