It is worth noting that in the 2000s, Ukraine was the world leader in the export of railway cars. The peak occurred in 2010-2011, when export revenue totaled as much as $ 3 billion. In 2011, more than 50 thousand freight cars were produced in Ukraine. Since then, however, the industry has essentially survived. After Ukraine was left without the Russian market (80% of the products went here), it could not find other buyers. At the same time, orders within the country were simply not enough. Already in 2015, only a thousand railway cars were produced in Ukraine

It is curious that against the background of modernization and renewal of both passenger and freight trains in Russia, all used equipment goes to Ukraine. According to the General director of "Aurum Group" Andrey Zharia, due to the shortage of freight cars, Ukraine, instead of buying new Ukrainian ones, bought Russian used railway cars with expired service life, which are already banned in Russia.
Another victory and prosperity. That European countries do not seek to buy Ukrainian products. Isn't that right, DCM?
For 7 years, we couldn't create anything.Well, except for the sale of roundwood and chernozem (their own land) .
Oh, it's a shame to be a colony. Isn't that right?

Is that why France's largest train maker placed an order recently for thousands of more train wheels from Ukraine?

Oh, you're quoting "news" from 2015 again. Yeah we get it, times were BAD then. Guess what, its not 2015 anymore! If you examine the amount of exports Ukraine has to Europe (yes including train wheels), you are not going to be excited about how that's gone since 2015. Go ahead and look it up, I dare you.

If you think the Kryukiv train factory hasn't been busy in the past few years, you're also going to be disappointed.

Ukraine is not on the trajectory you are implying...Not that trade statistics, pictures or even videos will convince you otherwise. It's so easy to counter your Russian hate propaganda with reality...

According to KVSZ, in the past 2019, the plant produced about 5,237 railway cars . About 1,725 units were exported. At the same time, the company noted a positive trend, since a year earlier only 8.5% of the volume of products sold was exported (recall that in 2018 the plant produced only 3,686 railway cars ). Earlier, the CTS reported that in January 2020, the KVSZ reduced the production of freight railcars by 42%.*************************. For the whole of 2019 !!! This is a success from 50,000 to 5,500, this is a direct growth minus 10 times and in 6 years there is no movement except degradation and decline..But DCM, keep playing ostrich, keep enjoying the photos )))

Of course national production is down from 2010, the Luhansk train factory was taken over and destroyed by Russian "volunteers". Oh well.

Speaking of Kremenchuk, they are getting a new bridge:

Contract signed last month, pre-construction has begun. Including the connectors the total length of the structure will be 3,000 meters.

DKM, the "reality" is, that we can read the comments to you propaganda videos, and you don't.

And now the comments;
- So why then do we have so little of the newer technology for civilian purposes around?

- Because the cities should place orders. KVBZ is capable of producing trains for different purposes. But even if we take Kiev's metro for example, then they bought the last trains back in... whopping 2010 or 2011.

And Kharkov bought just one train before the elections.

*Curtains.*

Why would I care to read what Russians post on Youtube videos about Ukraine? I certainly can read them if I wanted to...

"New" trains for Kyiv from them haven't been ordered, but many of them have been upgraded by KVBZ. Under Yanukovich, Kyiv Metro bought metro trains from Russia.

Every metro system in Ukraine is currently under expansion with multiple stations under construction. And every system has new cars on order. Kharkov recently ordered 8 more train sets, but KVBZ filed a complaint for not winning. If KVBZ didn't win the order contract, they have to offer better cars or at a better price. No more subsidized sloppiness and corruption. If they can't, too bad. The government isn't there to keep soviet level of production continuing. KVBZ has plenty of work with hopper cars on order and other things.

As long as it doesn't fit your narrative, it's all "Russia-Russia-Russia."
We know the drill by now.

So to continue Turist's tour of Ukraine since 2015, today I found an interesting neighborhood in Rivne.

https://www.google.com/maps/@50.5974...!7i7680!8i3840

I can't say I like the colors but apparently they do. If you "drive" around in there far enough you'll find a very interesting kindergarten.

Are you sure they're getting it? ))) They write that again the declaration of intent.Money was allocated to find out the possibility of construction. Plus your picture for which someone received a million hryvnia, spending a couple of hours on drawing. A bridge. What do you think? Will things move by the middle of the 21st century?

Oh, you found an expensive neighborhood of 20 homes for wealthy citizens. How much is there? 2000 people live? Half the officials and the police? But the rest of the city, frozen in 2015...
