You claimed inflation was up 200% using the stats on that website. The same website shows salaries increased over 300%. How is it possible that inflation was more than the salary increase? Soviet math?
I am defeated by Soviet math then.
Yes, yes, like an ostrich, this is what you need )) Very convenient ))) This is also called "selective blindness"
Today's tour continues to Vinnitsa. (Inspired by Turist). Vinnitsa is one of the lowest income regions of Ukraine, mostly because it is one of the least industrialized regions of Ukraine ( I think it has Poroshenko's chocolate factory?). Anyway, lets see the decay since 2015:

Nothing new there, just the same as it was 10 years ago. Not everything can be fixed at once.... but some parts are clearly being improved. And I have you to thank for pointing out the time capsule.
When I was exploring the bombing of those dams on the Crimean Canal i also took walks down the streets of some towns. The dubious conditions of some roads was obvious but the rest of the town seemed to be in good order. No one seemed rich but I saw no one starving either. One picture of a woman and 2 well dressed kids arguing while the woman held an obviously very fat and patient cat was hilarious to look at. The houses were in good order and the people were well dressed.
It was kind of normal for that part of the world in that type of setting. It really looked like a great place to raise a family.
Some of the cities though did not look so good. Obviously more used appearance with the new right next to the decrepit. Drunks on the street at bus stops and at one point an obviously dead dog left in the gutter. Not the first time I have seen that in a city of Ukraine. Mounds of garbage in some places. Shady characters.
Not the kind of place you would want to raise a family.
Nova Kakhovka probably hasn't changed at all since I went through a long time ago... The largest communist party rally I ever saw in my life was there. Come to think of it I think it was Lenin's birthday. One of the last places that took down Lenin so it makes sense. They probably have his statue stored for safe keeping hoping to put it back up.

For safe keeping? Or a rumble from the east coming over the horizon. One can always hope.

The funny thing is that Ukraine in its current borders exists thanks to Lenin and Stalin. On the contrary, they should worship them, and not destroy their monuments.
