Several news sources are saying Russia is going to attack the Ukraine by January of next year.
Do you think this will happen?
"Several news sources" provide you a targeted lie. As usual. The only country that needs the war there is USA. What a coincidence - those "several news sources" are owned by USA propaganda outlets.
Several news sources are saying Russia is going to attack the Ukraine by January of next year.
Do you think this will happen?
I doubt it but the best time in the next few months would be in January when everything will be frozen and mechanized units will not have to worry about water obstacles ect impeding an offensive. It will start when cold as possible and in the worst weather conditions if it does.
Russia has some time for diplomacy to work but it won't be patient forever. Ukraine is going to see changes ahead and I don't think it will go well for the current junta in power.
"Good evening, the political talk show "PolitKitchen" is on the air. Along with our guests, we are trying to understand the logic of the current events.
-Good evening, as they say we have the news for you - a good one and a bad one. Bogdan, what should we start with?
-Sasha, let's start with reality that we live in for the last eight years here in Donbass.
The good news is that the civilian from Petrovsk district of Donetsk, who was wounded by the Ukrainian sniper regained his consciousness.
The bad news is that the doctors couldn't save his leg.
The condition of this 34 year old man is considered to be serious by the doctors.
The cynicism of the whole situation is that back in 2015 this young man already got the disability, as the result of shelling by Ukrainian forces.
So this time around, six years later, the Ukrainian sniper that hit him, couldn't not to see that the man was already moving in the wheel chair. He was only couple of meters away from his home, but failed to reach it.
Then the morning of the 2nd of December, the third wounded man passed away as the result of shelling that Ukrainians conducted with the help of the drone in Golmovsky village at the end of October, ( October 30ieth.) Andrey Chichkan was 35 years old.
Vladimir Anatolievich, we are constantly bringing such cases to public attention, and Zelensky simply dismisses them. We name the names, we indicate the specific days and circumstances, we lay out the facts, yet it doesn't do any good.
Strelkov warned Putin and Co of what was coming, and so did Tzarev.
But Putin and Co thought they could bargain with the West, and thus they bargained away thousands of lives of the East Ukrainians. Literally thousands lives of people that are now dead. ( And yes, this included Zakhar, Motorola and Givi.)
So after the latest negotiations of Putin and Biden, the US dispatched some "Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Dr. Karen Donfried" to both Kiev and Moscow.
In Moscow she received two official papers from Putin regarding the assurance of Russia's security ( in writing) which ( I assume) are all about non-alliance with NATO of Ukraine and Georgia ( and the rest of the former Soviet States would be my guess.)
Then she traveled to Brussels, and she promised to deliver Moscow's suggestions to both Washington and Brussels.
Meanwhile, Zelensky met with the newly appointed German chancellor Scholz and Macron.
All in vain of course, since nothing is going to be decided without Russia.
Former US ambassador in Moscow, Michael McFaul meanwhile noted lately; "how did we let it happen - to allow this "Normandy format" to exist without our (American) involvement. This is definitely a mistake of Obama's administration." ( I am quoting Russian news here.)
"That's fine" Kremlin is saying now - "You can join the group, now that we've got your attention by our troops build-up on Ukrainian border, but only to learn ( finally) that it's not us but Ukraine that is not adhering to the Minsk protocol. It's all about the special status for Donbass that Ukrainians are refusing to proceed with."
That's right - that's what Zelensky is trying to talk the Europeans in, to make Putin change this particular provision, and in order to twist his arm, he is asking them to close the NS2 project.
Because the Ukrainian nationalists ( who officially don't rule the country and hate Donbass with passion,) hold the knife to his throat.
But judging by the latest captioning of the official Ukrainian media, the wording "Minsk agreement" is absent there ( in description of the latest round of negotiations.)
Which is indicative that things are not playing in Zelensky's hands so far, even if he is getting some crumbs for Ukraine's military expenses.
And yet at the same time, Dr. Karen Donfried is denying that US are panning to make Kiev to submit to Moscow's demands ( read the "Minsk agreement.")
