Mkay.
Watching the news here.
The [Mod cut: inappropriate] are active like the morning birds after the recognition of the LDNR.

Increased shelling, subversive activities ( even the TV station has been targeted in Lugansk) more civilian deaths, more destruction of infrastructure.

The birdies seems to be targeting Lugansk area more than usual, not just Donetsk ( that one has been hit too.)

While Basurin ( and others from the Center of Control and Coordination of the ceasefire) are reporting the damages, Kremlin is thinking and planning, and Kiev is announcing emergency mode across Ukraine.

Well, if you consider that the price tag for everything in the USA is 10 times more expensive and more, then the comparison turns out not so tasty and funny))
Really? Some plywood sheds cost from $100 to $300,000 ))
So don't tell me about the inflated GDP.All basic expenses, such as rent, etc., are 10 times more expensive than in Russia. Should I mention medicine ?

So you can laugh, the income is twice as much, and the expenses are 10 ) It's really funny))
In Russia, rent a 1-room apartment 120 $
In the USA, rent a one-room apartment from $ 1100 (and this is also GDP)
But you keep playing the ostrich ))

Is it 10 x more expensive?

Base VW Tiguan:
Russia: 2,225,100 RUB (27,500 USD) - 1.4 l, 125 hp, 6 MT, FWD
US: 26,295 USD - 2.0 l, 184 hp, AT, AWD

The American version is not only cheaper, but the specs are superior.

Base Apple iPhone 13:
Russia: 79,990 RUB (988 USD)
US: 799 USD

House prices, food, restaurants...no comparison, Russia is much much cheaper.

Debts levels...let's not even go there....

Ask any Russian, 1/3 of Russia economy is cash money (including salaries) so real GDP is understated probably as much.

House ownership is higher than the US and, guess what, very little no mortgages.

While Russia has it problems and the economy is definitely not optimal, it is not the s...hole you and other uninformed folks think it is.

Your level of ignorance is embarrassing...do you think pipeline gas is fungible with Liquified gas?? Or that there is a huge spare capacity to go around?? My goodness......the lack of STEM education is dangerous...

Imported good are going to be expensive since the Ruble is undervalued, but domestic products are going to be significantly cheaper. For instance using the Big Mac index on 12 January 2021 the most expensive Big Mac in the US costed $5.66 while in Russia it was only $1.81 (135.00 RUB).

However if you take wages into account, minimum hourly wage in Russia is 150 RUB so it would take 54 mins of work to buy a Big Mac, while in the US the minimum wage is $7.25 meaning it would take 46 mins of work to buy the same Big Mac. If we include average wages, then in Russia it is 600 RUB meaning it would take the Average Russian 13.5 mins of work, while in the US the average hourly wage is $29.81 meaning it would take the Average American 11.3 mins of work to buy the same Big Mac. So yes Americans are wealthier but not by that much when you account for things such as cost of living.

So, it looks like I was wrong about Russia attacking in January.
