Not sure what point you're trying to make with the Wiki quote. It's all fine, but none of it addresses your claim that the US was the only objector. When it came time to vote 99 other countries sided with the US, 11 opposed the US, and 58 abstained. Your claim that abstain and absent = negative is absurd.

Yes, abstain is not the same as negative. But abstinence = doubt. And doubt is the first small step on the road to denial.

In the context of UN votes abstinence does not = doubt. It could/might, but is not a certainty because it could also possibly = other things, such as political expediency without any doubt.

They are bombing hospitals too. I hope Ukrainians will kill all the invaders.

Just wanted to share an excellent writeup that was shared by another poster in a different subforum about the disinformation campaign. They have assembled a list of the lies Russia is broadcasting about the war in Ukraine. If you recognize someone sharing these bogus stories you now have a reference list of which posts to ignore as fabrications from the Russian propaganda mill.

Your bogus story source is the New York Times. The "Gray Old Lady" used to be a middle of the road, reliable newspaper - those days are long gone.

I'm still waiting for an answer to your claim (disputed) that the US was the only objector to the Crimea referendum.

Maybe so...but I'll still take the "Gray Old Lady" anytime over Pravda

Because Vlad seems to be in charge of a "Potemkin Military" (oligarchs selling substandard military tires at inflated prices as an example), he has authorized the import of 16,000 mercenary fighters from the Middle East.

Ukraine has responded by offering Russian pilots $1M to defect with their plane, and $500,000 with a helicopter. Love it.

I love it too.

Importation of 16,000 mercenary fighters from the Middle East,
tells us that Putin is desperate...doesn't have enough troops
and even if he gets 16,000 ...it's not enough.
