Erasure who posts a link from an obscure magazine article printed in (wait for this) 2012 that says the UK's economy is a disaster, maybe it was then, but now The UK has the strongest growth in the G7. The source for that information erasure is the OECD, this year!

Now the Russian economy on the other hand IS a disaster. the Russian finance minister said yesterday that Russia will probably go into recession in 2015. Putin's vanity is costing the Russian people big time and will continue to do so until he realises that he is not the reincarnation of Lenin.

Pretty much all of Europe, Japan, and China are in recession now. That's why you're seeing so many emergency measures by central banks in the space of the last six months. The other problem is that central banks are trying to protect the financial markets that have greatly distanced themselves from the respective underlying economies.

I noticed on the State Department website for NED that they recently congratulated themselves for organizing and funding the Hong Kong protests by Occupy. A lot of people are disappointed that they employed the FBI and the 'counterterrorism' police to break up the Occupy protest movement in the US. Nearly half of all the domestic 'counterterrorism' manpower was devoted to infiltrating and disrupting a peaceful grassroots protest movement.

The article was printed ( wait for this) in 2014 ( a year ago -gawd, that's like in different millennium, and since it's a different millennium, sure everything is so magically different a year later.)
If you don't like the "obscure magazine article," read something less obscure, the results are still the same. As if no one is aware of G.B's "austerity" and what it's all about.

Russian economy was always a "disaster," for ages, but you know what, it's not based on "financial services" sector, which might have been a very attractive arrangement in the past, but with unfolding situation in the world's economy will prove to be deadly.

Citizens in the streets of Kiev seem desperate at the point that they feel they have nothing left to loose after having protesting rights lost, and perhaps a much tighter grip with what seems to be heading towards totalitarian ways. All the while, turn the corner and the Sochi Olympic games are currently on the world stage. The Ukraine has a whole new generation of post Soviet/iron curtain college age kids growing into adulthood. What direction is the Ukraine heading in?
All I would say to Ukrainians is that they are better out of the EU, and try stay out of Russia... It is up to the eastern Ukrainians to join Russia, but the rest of Ukraine - please don't join the European Union! Join a the common market and have free trade deals with the EU, but don't let Brussels make the decisions for your country, or have the Euro... Hopefully, the idea of the EU will fall and become what it was, and what Brits voted for - a common market of free trade, and nothing else! That's my opinion, the parts of Ukraine that don't want to be part of Russia, should be it's own independent country with free trade deals with Europe and the rest of the world, without EU rules being imposed on ones country!

And the last but not least - it looks like the Ukrainian ambassador to E.U K. Yeliseev yelled at the head of the German Ministry of International Affairs ( F.W. Steinmeier I guess?) saying that "No one can stand on Kiev's way to join NATO!" That was a response to Steinmeier's words that "Ukraine is not welcome in NATO."
"Every country-partner, Germany including, should respect a choice of such independent country as Ukraine. Not a single country has right to stand on Ukraine's way of joining NATO, and thus to a better future."

( They say here it was published in Die Welt, so I can't check on it, unfortunately.)

?? ??????? ???????? ? ????! - ????? ??????? ? ?? ???????? ?? ????? ??? ???

P.S. Oh, another thing; couple of days ago V. Gontareva ( head of Ukrainian Central bank) mentioned ( I don't know what other word to use here) that the gold reserve of Ukraine is practically all gone; there is only 1 % left. At that, she can't explain its disappearance. ( Minding you it was still there, when Yanukovitch left.)

So...time to start microwaving popcorn or what?

Ukrainians know only how to see in black and white colors; Brussels white, Moscow black and there are no other hues. And they can't, just can't leave Eastern Ukraine alone. They need to pull it closer to "Brussel's happiness."

It was reported soon after the ouster of Prime Min. Viktor Ynukovych that the gold had been secretly flown out of Kiev and confiscated by the New York Federal Reserve. Seeing a lot of stories in the past year about foreign governments demanding their gold back from the US. Germany eventually backed down.

Yeah, I've read about it earlier, so I don't understand why they don't connect any dots on social networks at this point. Haven't they heard about it or what, I wonder?

Oh...whoops!
