I'm in a happy place. I have enough components to shoot a reasonable amount for the foreseeable future. An exception would be shotgun shell components, but I have enough and can find enough to keep going. Certainly I have enough to hunt for the rest of my life.

And I have some trading barter so that's good.
Same here. Except for a couple special loads, I have what I need.
I would say, in these times, if you can find it for less that $500, it would be a good time to buy. For $500 to $700, it would be something to think about.
I don't know when things will get better, or when things will get worse, but my bets are that this is about as good as it gets, for the foreseeable future.
I remember when primers were less than 10 bucks a thousand. Powder about the same. Wish I had bought even more.
Well, with Nosler Partition bullets. The price is steep, but around here 308 ball ammo is about a buck a round, and hunting ammo $2 per round. A guy who shoots carefully could get a couple of hunting seasons out of that box of 20 rounds.
Edited to add, the above prices are at Bi-Mart a PNW discount store. So those are relatively good prices.
If I could get primers for a semi-normal price, I could handload them for a lot less.

and probably buy some tungsten shotgun shells.
$5 a round, i guess...IF they have any left.
