Most were wearing masks and the events were outside. The burden of proof is on those that desperately continue to push blame while overlooking indoor, unmasked political rallies, parties, nightclubs, gyms, and all the other reckless behavior that has been going on. If you want to speak out against the protests because you don't understand the need, take that to the controversy forum. Using COVID as a means to do so has been proven to be baseless.

It only took common sense to see the spike right after the the riots and looting.

It's funny (for lack of a better term) the health director said it did a couple of weeks ago.
Garcetti said it didn't a couple of days ago.
Now, he's changed his mind.
Good that he's being nimble, but probably pretty confusing if people aren't following closely.
We'll have to see how it goes this weekend and see what he enforces.

This relates to AZ because SoCal is experiencing a pretty significant rise at the same time we are and we're both pretty connected.

The one making the claim should be able to prove said claim. Or else there's no point to be had.

It will be interesting to see if those that have been ranting about the BLM protests will be as vocal about the morons planning to protest the gym closures tomorrow, who we all know will likely not be wearing masks.

You sure you want to go with the NBER "study?"

NBER working papers are circulated for discussion and comment purposes. They have not been peer-reviewed or been subject to the review by the NBER Board of Directors that accompanies officialNBER publications

I especially like this one because it's a health study compiled by economists.

I'll get back to you when I read all the other stuff.
