Linguine with red sauce, garlic cheese bread and whatever Dessert my friend brings with her. Also, unsweetened tea for me I'm not sure what she will drink.
A Dessert Update, she brought "Death by Chocolate", it is a layer of chocolate pudding, a brownie on top of that, a layer of vanilla or chocolate ice cream, a layer of whipped topping a cherry on top and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. I could not eat all of it but I did save the rest for later.
Big salad: Romaine lettuce, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, red baby bell pepper, baby bella mushrooms, carrots, boiled egg, jalepeno pepper, texas toast seasoned croutons with caesar dressing. Wine to drink
Grandma is visiting, so dinner was simple, chicken veggies
DESERT was good though. I had some ripe bananas so I made Banana Bread, but to spice it up, I added a square of semi sweet baking chocolate and a shot of dark rum. In retrospect, I could have gone with two shots of rum and two chocolates, but it got devoured rather quickly.
Some people like to soak the banana in Rum for a few hours before adding them to the banana bread mix, that works too.
Call it Banana Chocolate rum Bread more cake-like than a bread, but tasty whatever you want to call it
