You have the same breakfast every morning and the same dinner every night? Doesn't that get boring?
In the winter I eat the same thing every morning. When the weather warms up my breakfast will change. As for dinner, I like to keep things simple and don't mind eating similar food for long stretches of time. BTW, my dinner varies at least one night a week always.
Fridays are steak night (usually) at my house, so tonight's dinner will be spicy flatiron steak, potato & cheese pierogies, roasted asparagus and a nice big salad. With our usual "TGIF" beverages of beer and wine.
This is mean, but since I've given up potatoes for Lent, I'm not cooking them for the family either. I thought I'd try something a little different tonight that I hope they'll enjoy: sweet roasted onions stuffed with ground lamb, apricots and spices; whipped cauliflower (w. cheese and chives); and green beans with sweet and sour bacon dressing. Maybe, I'll make some brownies topped with whipped cream as a peace offering.

I LOVE whipped cauliflower.
