Yesterday I had egg salad. Was gonna make devilled eggs but they tore up trying to peel them so instead I chopped 'em up. Can't have bread so I just ate it out of the bowl.

Tonight will be grilled chicken breasts from the freezer. And steamed vegetables from the freezer too -- whatever is at the front.

Since tonight is Shrove Tuesday, out of tradition I will make pancakes.(Growing up in a German Evangelical Lutheran Church, this is a tradition before lent.)

But not just any pancakes, Almraushe's German pancakes! We all know that anything Alm makes is topnotch! I'm quite excited about this delicious, thin crepe style pancakes that were served to me as a child by my Tante Anna!

We'll probably enjoy breakfast sausage and some of that delicious pink grapefruit that's appeared in stores as of late. Sweet and juicy!

After dinner, DH and I will meet friends for cocktails.

I'm going to make a roasted veggie lasagna with cashew bechamel and a chunky, spicy tomato sauce. I have some whole wheat sourdough that I'll use to make garlic bread.
