Java Jolt on E. Butler Rd has closed. Looks like Java Bistro in Five Forks is the last local coffee shop in the Woodruff Rd area. Hopefully they will survive when the new Starbucks opens.
Aw.. That sucks. I didn't get by there much, but enjoyed when I did.
Driving through Mauldin the other day I noticed that Wendy's was closed. Inside it looked like they were tearing everything out and some work going on in the parking lot. Anybody know if it will reopen?
Wendy's #46, 107 North Main Street, Mauldin, South Carolina 29662-2509
At best, Wendy's #46 is undergoing a complete renovation. Several Wendy's quick service restaurants in Greenville County underwent complete renovations. At worst, Wendy's #46 has closed for business.

They have a message up now saying that they're closed only temporarily.
WYFFs site has an article about Cherrydale Chick-Fil-A closing at 10pm tomorrow and remaining closed for 4 weeks for a remodel.
I'd assume they're going to do something similar to what was done down in Simpsonville last year. Adding 2 lane drive thru, etc.
They have a second pickup lane now just not double menu/order boards. They default to outdoor staff taking orders at busy times and send customers to either the pickup window or the second lane where they bring it to you. They are really landlocked there so not sure they can fit an extra order point in.
I think liquid highway still has a few locations, so a few local coffee stands remain. All the new QTs popping up have pretty decent coffee and I can drink the coffee at Sphinx if I forget mine from home.
