I know you were referring to the general practitioners - I was trying to answer MtFlyer in more "general" terms and started to ramble as I often do

FWIW, I just called the hospital to see if they had a list of primary care docs in the area who are accepting new patients.....unfortunately the person who supposedly handles that is out today, so I don't know if Littleton Regional has such a list. I know a lot of hospitals in various areas of the country do have them, so calling the hospital might be a starting point for someone looking for a GP, internist, PCP, etc.

Smile Thank you again!

I think I just set up the direct messaging. Yes we loved Littleton! Although my husband preferred North Woodstock. But either way we will be back this June to make our stake!

Hope all is well! By the way, thank you to Lisa G, Mt Flyer, Comet, Nicolem and Aptor hours & Country!

Special thanks to Lisa G, Comet, and others who stood up for humanity on the thread that was just closed!

I always wonder about when a man has to say he has been married 40+ years and then will rationalize such perverted self destructive behavior. Maybe he is like the ex senator who got busted in the rest room!

I just had to say something because we are moving to New Hampshire and not San Francisco!

I'm so glad it all went well Sandbar!

What did your husband prefer about North Woodstock? Can't wait to hear more.

I also enjoyed the weather today! However, I think the bad weather is coming back with a vengence tommorrow. Next week looks like highs will be in the 40s out in my area.

My daughter and I made it to New Hampshire and had the best time. We stayed in Manchester a few days and saw the all about New Hampshire expo. We went to Porstmouth for two days. Cool city, had good food and fun looking at the stores, but the very best was going to Littleton, staying at Thayer's Inn and seeing our property on Mann's Hill Road. It is so beautiful. Love that city.

I have another question, I noticed you have been discussing doctors. Does anyone use Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Lumenos HSA 1250? If so are you happy with it, is it easy to get a doctor if you are new to the area? I appreciate your help, thank you.

Hi Liberteriangirl - we'll be almost neighbors! <g> Glad you liked Littleton - it should be even better later on - the Main Street project gets started 4/13/09 - should be fun to see the progress!

I can't answer your insurance question, as I don't have Anthem BC/BS, however before I became an employee of my current company, I was told to check them out for this area and at the time (3 years ago), it seemed to be decent coverage (don't know if it was the Lumenos HSA 1250).

I have Anthem and have had no problem with providers taking my insurance.
