My neighbor who stayed says we lost power about 15 minutes ago. St Petersburg, 50th and 1st

Same here. I hope we'll be OK, too. TECO is pretty good, but we did have like four power outages this summer that lasted around 6 hours.

Anyone seen the reporting on CNN where a reporter was telling the viewers how difficult it was not to fall and meanwhile two people on a bike came by and didn't seem to have difficulties pushing the pedals for a rainy bike ride.

The "journalist" looks like a complete idiot just to make this storm worse then it is.

Meanwhile if these journalist would go to the right spots they would see owners/tenants who have properties destroyed due to flooding etc

Nothing new here. 4+ " of rain and same winds. Storm going north and should pass around Lake land or east.

Seems like the only forecast track that was worth a darn was the one going up the center of the state. Even the last hurricane center track took it close to or through Tampa and at that point, Paul Dellegatto pooh-poohed it, and I think the ABC affiliate did, too.
