They keep on bleating all the same.
On a brighter side,
Bloomberg is finally acknowledging the fiasco of Zelensky regime, but of course they are deceitful as the rest of American media about the true reasons behind it.
They are trying to cover it all up with the help of the usual drivel about the "fight with corruption," instead of acknowledging things for what they are - the failure of colonial policies unleashed on Ukraine by ever-righteous *justice warriors" of American Democratic Party.
And they ( still) hope that with arrival of Biden on presidential post, there is more to come for "fighting Russia till the last Ukrainian."
I don't think it's bound to happen though, they are running out of time for all this B.S., as much as they try, because not ALL Ukrainians are all that ignorant, as they hoped.
Starting from the Constitutional Court justices mentioned in the article, that figured out that those "electronic asset declarations" demanded from all Ukrainian officials by the foreign overseers were not implemented with the purpose of "fighting the corruption," but with the purpose of keeping them all on the hook, while striking deals only with the officials that serve their purpose, no matter whether they are corrupt or not.
( With other words, precisely what American ambassador M. Yovanovitch was accused of and hence booted out.)
And those so-called "market-friendly reformers" mentioned in the article (and appointed yet again by the Western overseers) were so inept, not having even the higher education diplomas, that it brought the public outcry.
And THAT's what brought their dismissal in the first place, no matter what this deceitful article claims.
As for
"The president could appeal to the street to rise up behind him, as it has so decisively in the past:" - yes, Zelensky was increasingly relying on the Nazi forces to protect him, but Bloomberg wouldn't want to call a spade a spade - why would it.
"Appeal to the street" sounds so much better than what it really is.
Yet another note, when it comes to this article;
"Despite criticizing a lack of prosecutions under his predecessor, no high-ranking officials have been locked up on Zelenskiy’s watch."
Woopty-doo, and who this "high ranking official" was supposed to be in the first place, other than Pyotr Poroshenko himself, with plenty of corruption charges brought against him?
Nothing happened to him, obviously, since HIS corruption was protected by Americans; he was a loyal servant of Joe Biden, who still hopes to go back and to whip up the hatred towards Russia among the Ukrainians as soon as.
Precisely as the article describes -
" In 2015, he invoked the deaths of protesters when telling parliament that “their sacrifice -- to put it bluntly -- is now your obligation.”
But as I've said, I think good ole Joe is running out of time.
And Ukraine (if to believe to their latest news, that refer to Bloomberg yet again,) is firmly placed now in the category of the poorest Asian and African countries, as far as the investment attractiveness goes.
So much for "We Europe."
Домычались.
