DKM..
Once the democratic process is broken, once the law is broken, it's all downhill from there.

Although after coup d'etat the next election seem to be "fair and free" initially, the *new masters* ( the ones that came after 2014,) explained Zelensky pretty fast what this is all about, and what he allowed and not allowed to do.

And that's how "free elections" became a bogus pretty fast.

Nevermind that pro Russians are allowed to run in recent elections even during a war where they support the opposite side.

And that's why their TV stations were shut down recently?
Their party might be outlawed too, from what I see developing, because their rating is growing. ( In fact, their party already is more popular than Zelensky's party, if to believe the recent polls.)

Yeah real democracy under Yanukovych when he imprisoned the opposition and turned his back against the people's will to cancel their desire to join Europe. You really got me there.

And the new government is not imprisoning anyone thinking differently? In fact it's not only imprisoning - it's murdering people too.

And Yanukovich was too pro-European. He was trying to sit on both chairs. That's what killed him at the end.

Lukashenko figured out this mistake soon enough and that's what saved him.

Those were the good old days when wages were stagnant and Ukraine paid 3 times as much for gas.

Now the consumers pay 11 times more. And?

This anti Western fantasia world was fomented in the soviet generation who grew up in the 60s. We sadly must wait for them to die off, at least its happening a little quicker lately. Someday all the Putin's and Lukashenko's will be tossed in the trash. Maybe then the eastern Russians can join the civilized world.

"Someday" may be. But before this will happen, the West has a lot of thinking to do.

But until then - Putin stays.

And so is Lukashenko.

Exactly.
So all these Nazi gangs that serve as the the "base of the Ukrainian state," the gangs that serve as a "law enforcement," make it a terrorist state.

That is why most people from Gorlovka left and live in Zelensky's Ukraine.

Once again, your words are riddled with hypocrisy and double standards.
Some time ago, you tried to convince everyone that the ISIS terrorists who openly cut the heads of hundreds of captives are rebels who are fighting for the freedom of their homeland against the bloody Assad regime. Now exactly the same people, but only Ukrainians, who have not cut off a single captive head and who are fighting against the Nazi regime they hate, you call them terrorists.

If you want to argue that Ukraine needs to strengthen its democratic institutions and further root out corruption, I won't disagree there at all. They are FAR from where they should be, especially 7 years since the revolution. But perhaps it would be helpful to consider that it is still under threat from a Russian armed force in one corner. That threat continues as Kravchuk so eloquently explained today:

Not your favorite media channel but Ukrainian is unintelligible to me so this is all I can do (or watch NASH hah).

The world grains council has released data showing Ukraine took second place after the USA for grain exports in the last fiscal year. Ukrainian grain production has increased to record levels in most of the years since 2013, especially after signing the trade agreement with the EU which eliminated quotas, thus making its more profitable to plant and grow more corn. Technical prowess from investments have also resulted in increased yields in the past 7 years, corn has doubled in production since 2013.

If you look around at Google Maps you may notice a lot of new grain silos appearing in Ukraine.

Little video about the most recent ones:

DKM...
Lookie here, what Sharij found - at 2:11, 2:27, 12:37

April 2014; Zelensky and his Kvartal 95 are giving concert in Gorlovka, to... yep, you've got it - to the very "terrorists" ( according to YOU) of Donbass.
Igor Bezler ( nom de guerre "Bes" (Devil) - remember?) and his people.

P.S. And we were kinda always assuming that Zelensky was cozying up only to the Ukrainian army ( judging by his older video...)

Are you sure that you still want to bet on the *president*?

About Zelensky's adventures in Gorlovka, where he gave concerts for residents of the self-proclaimed DPR after the actual start of the war and the capture of Gorlovka under the control of the Bezler group.

Yep, Sharij is confirming it all in one of his latest dispatches that I posted above.

But of course there are more interesting details in this old newspaper - thank you Zimogor.

So..
Zelensky and his Kvartal 95 arrived with a concert to Gorlovka precisely on the first day of the so-called "anti-terrorist operation" unleashed on Donbass by Poroshenko. With other words - the first day of the official civil war.
Correspondent; "Explain to us please why during the last concert of Kvartal 95 that we saw Saturday, there is so much of anti-Russian theme?"
Zelensky "This is a very important moment. I want all of us to speak the common language - this language that we speak right now, understanding each other. We can't be against the Russian people by default, because we are one and the same people.

The problems of the Russian government and its attitude towards the Ukrainian government, unfortunately backfired at you and me. And the position of our Kvartal 95 is not pro-Ukrainian government, it's pro-Ukrainian people. And it's not against the Russian people, it's against the Russian government. How can we not like the Russians? We are not the idiots! We read the same books. But we are not shy to express our attitude towards the Russian government, and we are not shy to show our attitude towards the Ukrainian government."

Zelensky is/was correct. It was a nice try and I see a genuine attempt to breach the gap before the war with Russia started. Glad we can agree on something.

This is barbaric. Mean spirited and downright insane. Just like the fascist tribal mindset. They didn't build the gates to with stand even a few artillery shells.
