It just blows me away that a regime needs to pay people to argue on internet. These Russian trolls are everywhere, their arguments are pretty much the same.

Arguments?? More like lies.

Hehe somebody really has to do a study on the effect of social media as an incendiary and truth/falsehood device when it comes to the reporting and dissemination of information on global or country conflict.

Listen, rather than being amateur political scientists we may need more philosophers who can rummage through and tell denote b******t from truth and truth from b******t. Anyway what percent of the billions of words regurgitated out make sense?? It is getting problematic. Can we imagine what Ivan and Peter could have done with the Internet?? I think Russua'd be in Portugal and Spain already....;-)....

It's so hard to get news here in the west.

If I take my knowledge of Ukrainian culture, add to it some simple facts We can derive the situation in Ukraine.

1. Government: They spread propaganda that they have mandate of the people, when in reality few buy their lies.
2. Ukraine's currency has devalued to like 80%. Meaning that Ukraine's government's corruption war is really a witch hunt for political opposition, average citizen can't feed his family without "stealing".
3. Both sides are getting ready for a war part 2. This means that working age males with established careers are facing a choice of prison or joining the Ukrainian army.

Donbas does a little better then Ukraine, they get help from Russia. Donbass is still closed for travel, families displaced by the violence have hard time joining family members who are spread over various regions, but the retired population on Donbass is not starving to death like their Ukrainian counterparts.

Poroshenko government is gaining momentum in it's extermination of "undesirables" (Pro-Russians). But they are loosing international support.

None. Where I come from we are entitled to our own opinions. Been that way for centuries. It`s called democracy.

If our president or king tried to pay me to have an opinion, I would tell him to take a hike. And I would most likely survive too.

So you are entitled to your opinion but people in the East are not somehow?
Why you calling them trolls just because their opinion is different from yours? That's not "democracy" that's brainwash.

How to oppress a people. Dimitry Yarosh.

Ruthlessness. Best translation I could get, maybe Erasure can do better if she has time.

This is certainly how government works. Soviets did it, America and most of the western lackeys do it. Quick, thorough, brutal oppression by force.

Kyiv, March 29.
The leader of the "right sector" Dmitry Yarosh told how going to subdue Donbass Kiev.

As stated Jaros in an interview with Ukrainian "Internet Options", Donbass is realistic to make a fully Ukrainian in spirit, despite the fact that the population there consists mainly of ethnic Russian.
According to the leader of the "right sector" to start in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions should declare the hunt for those who are able to lead the people, that is, simply put, "povydergivat violent." After that the program should be organized "affectionate Ukrainianization."
"There's the scoop. The real scoop. And it will have to corrode. Very hard to work with those who do not want to live by the rules, the laws of the state. Deportation, deprivation of civil rights and so on. Without such power to a certain extent a factor there can not do anything. Do not change the situation ", - says Dmitry Yarosh .
According to him, in any case can not show weakness. As an example the recent riots in the population Kostyantynivka where drunken Ukrainian military on bronetenike knocked a woman with two children.
"The events in Kostyantynivka even it showed. If slack showed at least a little ... That's how at the beginning began to show - and immediately povylazili whole bunch of "eagles" that the tragedy began to take advantage of. And as soon as the evening began guys shoot in the air and pulled the instigators of the riots - all at once ceased. The same rule. Remember Vysotsky: "real rowdy little - that's no leaders." There povydergivat violent - and everything will be fine. Quietly, quietly. And then, of course, the program affectionate Ukrainianization "- said Yarosh .

Nobody pays me to promote Obama as the worlds savor. Heck, I don`t even like Obama. THATS the differance.

If Putin is so desperate that he needs to pay teenagers in St. Petersburg to troll the internet - then he has a problem. But Putin is desperate - and dangerous.

I`ve been to Russia, and I know how deep "eastern" opinions stick.

C'mon guys. How many times have we seen Vikingens narrative? It's all the same from oh so many, he doesn't have anything new to contribute, he doesn't know anything about the subject other than generalities and is going to just waste time with blithering nonsense.
