But how did you expect me to know all that?
You should have simply said that it WAS in Wikipedia)))) ( I was afraid that I'd miss it; I don't like using Russian Wikipedia in general - they make it difficult to find worthy information; that is if it's there at the first place.)
But back to Chubais...
Ok, sorry. The modern Russian view about Chubais (Russian language, slang).
Meanwhile today, John Kerry, Lavrov and Putin had a long talk about something behind closed doors in Sochi...
I was watching BBC America tonight. Some idiot terrorism propagandist claimed that Russia was responsible for the ISIS crisis in Syria because Russians had been joining ISIS. There was no mention that ISIS was created by the US and allied governments to oust Assad who is a Russian ally. There was no mention that the 'Russians' were in fact Chechen rebels and other rebels from Russian republics where the CIA is active in supporting insurgencies. Here in the US, the normal propaganda has been to link ISIS to former Syrian and Iraqi military so that it looks like a homegrown terror group rather than a violent state-sponsored actor (VSSA) that it is.
what I don't really understand is, why we still have the West-East differences.
Is it just historical, fuelled by rhetorics, parades, history speeches
or is there some fundamental conflict about resources, colonies, races,
influence in the world - whatever ?
The NATO-involvement in the solving of recent conflicts, which Putin critisizes,
was it really so much opposite to the interests of Russia, the outcome so terrible,
or is it just used as an excuse for own sins or as a demonstration of defiance and own
nationality ? How would Russia or UNO have acted ?

The thing about IS/ISIS/ISIL is that there is more than one group. There is the ISIS paramilitary group that was trained in Jordan with the other rebel groups to carry out the regime change operation in Syria. There are the insurgencies in Iraq that are being lumped in with ISIS. There are over 50 groups in Iraq including those led by former Iraqi military, former Sunni insurgents who escaped the Iraqi prisons, and about 50 Sunni trbies and clans.
There's also reports of US providing support to ISIS and other insurgents. US military advisors captured in raids against Iraqi insurgents, supply helicopters in ISIS territory crash-landing, and US special forces landing behind battle lines between the Iraqi military and the insurgents.

The conflicts were manufactured by the very organizations and the countries that claimed to have "solved" them. To understand them, it's not sufficient to read about the conflicts once they manifest militarily. You need to do more than just watch TV news.
wanttoknow is somehow a special whistleblower, conspiracy webpage with UFOs
19/11 conspiracies and such, it's not common knowledge and I would be careful about it.
It needs time to check, which I don't want to spend now.
with 50 groups much is true for _some_ of the groups

Much on that page I already knew about. I've been following the Libya, Iraq, and Syria stories for about five years. The news on the Iraqi insurgency had nothing to do with Islamic State in 2013. The key players at that time were the former military leaders under Saddam and the leaders of the Sunni insurgency during the Surge of 2007.
