By the way, that's what ordinary Russians write about Nemtsov:
Common translation: Nemtsov held senior positions, but more stealing than benefits. And people do not much regret his murder.
We know a few reasons why some would like to have 'removed' Mr Nemtsov from the dangerous political scene. I'll just add a historical parallel that can add another cause.
Back in the 30's Kirov who was very prominent in the Party was killed allegedly to snuff out possible competition to Stalin. After that killing the famous Purges occurred where Stalin cleansed the Partyof undesirables. Hmm....very fascinating I think.
We all know repression is more the rule rather than the exception now in the Putinian politcs. And also it isn't even necessary to follow the line of Putin did not call for Nemtsov to be eliminated. The killing perhaps is now a further call for 'some' to get in line and follow the deemed course. And that is
get in tune with Putun's rule or be a dead fool. This is all out intimidation of the Russian population who say 'nyet'.
I hope the Russian people would wake up. The inmates seem to be running the asylum.

Curious what they'd do with Mr. Dostoyevski today. Put him in the clink. Raving lunatic? Would he suffer the same fate as Nemtsov and the others? You know he wasn't shy in 'opinions'.
How about him on the psychiatric couch since we know psychiatry in Soviet Russia was used to control dissidents and their 'opinions'. Better to see them as 'crazy' rather than rational. After Nemtsov , it's certainly going to be very difficult to hold 'contrary' (treasonous?) opinions within the state.

The Russians are under siege. If they relent to outside influences which seek regime change, they're going to be in for another round of shock therapy like the 1990's. It's gone on all over Europe. It's now being called austerity, but the goal remains the same --- to dismantle the economy and facilitate the acquisition of vital services and natural resources by the bankers at firesale prices.
