So? Are there any updates since then to reopen St. Luke's? I certainly haven't heard of any. The initial plans were to reopen that center in May, but now it appears it won't happen even with other hospitals stretching their limits. It's nothing but pure stupidity, and this is yet another example of why Phoenix and the state as a whole don't have very high credibility right now.

Proof? Eventually you’ll have to prove this theory that you keep posting.

I don't know why people politicise this so much. It was all guess work from the start. Remember when masks weren't recomended? That was from the WHO and flowed by the US and Canada. If we had shut our borders sooner this would be over by now. . Should have closed them 6 weeks earlier.

Data, statistics, reports, where are they? Prove it. All I’ve seen on the subject are reports from other areas that have concluded that the protests didn’t contribute to the spikes, given them being held outside and with masks being prominent. Again, let’s see something to substantiate this or it’s simply rhetoric that should be dropped.

Well said...There is a real lack of critical thinking around here. According to the most vocal in this thread the people properly social distancing at the grocery store, nail salons, and restaurants are the super spreaders and the protesters, rioters & looters, young bar crowd, are a non factor.

Get granny to wear a mask at the nail salon and this will all be over.

It is odd how the person who is chastising others for their behavior is out running around all over town to come here and report all the people he sees not wearing masks at every place in the valley.

[mod cut - personal attack] California has been been locked in down and cases there are spiking. But riots and looting werr allowed to go unchecked. Wonder wherever all those cases came from.

The age range of the spike here is in their 20s. What have these geniuses been doing for weeks on end "peaceful" protesting. Now those same people are working/partying in restaurants and bars.

Critical thinking doesn’t involve drawing conclusions without data to support them.

If it did, we’d be talking about the youngsters crammed into a church for hours during a trump rally without masks in sight, then going out into the area with whatever they picked up there. But, since there’s no data to support that claim (yet), we’re not talking about it. That’s how this should work. Data and science should drive the conversation. Not conjecture and rhetoric.
