The litigation will be locked up in state and federal courts for years. That'll give the ACC the time it needs to put out a better football product, with some schools being on par with the best of the SEC.
Hey it's not ACC fans that are lighting up Twitter and message boards about conference realignment. Quite frankly, I can't blame you for wanting to pick apart the ACC, especially after the ACC placed five schools (FSU, Miami, Clemson, Carolina and VaTech) in ESPN's top 25 2013 recruiting class ranking, second only to SEC, which had 10 schools in the top 25.
It isnt, ACC schools dont have fans, not in football.
You like UNC right, there is a good chance they are leaving. Hope you still support them.
What is reaching is trying to stay the ACC is going to be on par with the SEC, a certain Carolinian said this, when they are behind even the Big E in football.
When nothing happens... Will there be more buzz in 2014...[/quote
2014....that is the real question. Will something go down before the new playoff system?
Probably not, but you never know.
I just think it is ridiculous that the Big XII will be the ONLY major conference without a conference championship game. It should be a requirement to have access to the playoff system.
Two things that could bring FSU/Clemson (and more? Hello, NC State/Miami) into the fold for the Big XII....
1) B1G expands by going after some version of combo Virginia/UNC/G-Tech.
2) FSU/Clemson get left out (more than once) of the playoff even after having relatively stellar seasons.
When nothing happens... Will there be more buzz in 2014...
Give it time. ACC will lose more teams. I predicted UMD and you predicted it not losing any teams. It will be slow and gradual but slowly it will crumble.
