Sounds like fun. You sure get around. Tomorrow I get the j&j shot - I'll let you know if my arm falls off.
I'm using my fone - my dam- cat jumped on my table right after I sat a large hot cup of tea down. The whole thing spilled on my computer - yep
That darn cat.

I'm thinking about changing my route back to Minnesota and going south, New Mexico, Tennessee, etc, rather than Nevada, Utah, etc. Mainly because I started out by going down the Great River Road last fall and the southern states were HOT.

I really want to see Tennessee and explore Louisiana and Texas more. I think spring would be better for those states. Then I could return to Arizona via the western states in the fall.

I do have to wait until September before I leave Minnesota as that is when my yearly Dr appt is due as well as car tabs.

Sorry about the demise of your computer Umbria. Cats do tend to knock things over.

The Dogwoods and flowering trees are excellent in Tennessee and Kentucky. I think it was a Louisville cemetery that was so stunning in the spring. We happened to end up there on Kentucky Derby weekend. The museum there was quite interesting. We also happened upon Lexington during a huge Corvette event. The farms are so gorgeous in the spring and lots of young foals.

Western states are usually nice in the fall (aspen folage). We try to time it so we can make Albuquerque during Balloon Fiesta. (First week in October). You want to be out of MN before leaf season! Endless raking, and tomorrow also, another huge heap! You wonder if it will ever stop, where do all these leaves come from?

SD and WY and CO are great in the Fall. Don't miss all the hot springs!

Moved back by Lake Havasu area. It was so cold in Kingman-33 this morning. I will have to backtrack when I leave to go to Tennessee but that's okay. At least I'm warmer and this is a much better spot than the first one I was at here.

I'd forgotten how good my car heater was. Actually had to shut it off when I got here.

Very pretty sunrise this morning. This is a small, but nice campsite. It's off the highway though so there is traffic noise and headlights. But there is the ability to park further out.

I'm parked by my Quartzsite friend, who turned me on to the site. Although I had no problems with the Kingman site, other than the cold, it's nice to travel with someone you know. We'll watch each other's things, chairs, tables, etc. while the other goes into town.

This is 5-7 miles out of town.

Marigold likes it here too. She's such a cuddly cat but enjoys her outside time. She stays close to the car and when the ATV's zoom by she jumps back in through the window. I parked close to some large bushs/shrubs and she enjoys laying under them. It's closer to the highway but that's the payoff to give her what she likes.

Great name for a cat.

It's the one she came with. I felt she'd been through enough so didn't change it.

I decided to go back to Quartzsite. I'm paid up until April 15 and not having a bathroom facilities proved too difficult. Havasu Heights was a good spot
otherwise and I will return.

Next year I will have a shower tent and more freedom. I plan on staying on BLM land and use the shower tent. Here, at the LTVA, since I paid for the 7 months, I almost felt obligated to stay. But I enjoyed going to both Havasu area and Kingman. I'm glad I did that.

You can only stay on BLM land for 14 days at a time and I actually like that. It forces you to try other sites.

Is the guy that was using your solar still there? May as well get your paid for time in.

If you've talked to your brother you know we had a wee bit of snow. It was all gone and it will be gone soon. Take care.

He's still here but hasn't bothered me. He may have to gotten the message as he knew I was not pleased.

I did talk to my brother a few days ago. He didn't mention the snow. We just talked about my plans for returning to Minnesota.
