"Latched on like Yats?"
Let's see here who did the new masters of the "people's revolution" approve and whom they didn't.

Poroshenko thought that once he is approved, things will start magically happen on its own - the windfall of "foreign investments" in Ukraine's economy, and Ukraine becoming an "inseparable part of the West," with him at the helm. ( Never mind his little ( or rather big) gesheft growing under the "favorable circumstances." The latter one turned out to be true it seems - his chocolate business reports high profits, but as for the other two hopes - not so much.

Have you ever heard Klitschko talking?
He can't put two words together. Literally.

All as always.

American coal to Ukraine called substandard

Coal from the United States dangerous to use because of the sulfur content and can damage human health and the environment. This was reported by a former member of the national Commission of regulation of energy and utilities Andrew Gerus.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? The expert said that the largest energy generating company in Ukraine DTEK has announced the purchase of coal of mark G in the United States due to the shortage of anthracite. Coal from the US was cheaper, he said, because of the low quality and high content of sulphur, reports etcetera.

"The sulfur content in coal from the US is 3.3 . This is almost a 3.5 times higher than allowed sulphur (in coal) in Rotterdam. This is low-quality and environmentally supervinyl coal and it is prohibited for combustion in almost all countries of Europe. This coal is illiquid and is sold with a large discount," said Gerus.

To understand, in the Ukrainian coal with a sulfur content of 2 average. According to the law, Tripolskaya TPP has the right to burn coal with sulfur not more than 1.7%, reports the Insider.

The company does not comment on the quality of the acquired U.S. coal and how to use it, but it was reported that American coal, 64 tons of which has already arrived in Ukraine, delivered at Ladyzhyn and Zaporizhia thermal power plant.

"There are local residents... cheered the intense emissions of sulphur dioxide, which when reacted with water, turns into sulfuric acid with the huge level of toxic effects. Acid drops are able to overcome long distances and fall as acid rain. Could — also from sour gas", — said the expert.

Expert energy market Dmitry marunich explains that in principle there is nothing wrong in buying American even coal with a high sulfur content, since it can burn with the same coal that contains less sulfur.

"Because of the lack of good coal, DTEK may be an unpopular move and to buy cheaper and lower quality, but mix it with quality. So that's a savings. However, the state environmental Inspectorate are monitoring it. Any violation of the law should be punished severely," — said Marunych.

WAS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE?

Gerus explains that was. And this alternative could be coal from the mines Volyn, which contains sulfur at 1.5 . "However, in March, DTEK has reduced the purchase of coal from these mines by 30%," says Gerus.

So. Did the damn coal from the US? Maybe that stuff about it coming from the Don was crap. I don't beleive this either, coal plants have ways to scrub the exhaust and clean it up. Unless those power plants are really out of date it shouldn't be a problem. The question is, are the plants capable of doing it.

From the BBC. What's next for our warrior Saka? Extradition to Georgia to face trial?

What really makes me laugh is the accusation he's Yanu and Putin puppet. Putin is truly a powerful individual.

EIther that or the Ukraine junta are the worlds worst liars. Nice how the western media will avoid inconvenient truths. This whole thing is a fraud and we're moving on to the next step already? No one is going to question the accusations against him? Oh my, time to board the train, everybody get in line or else.
