Very ironic statement. Its not 2012 anymore. Donbass is no longer populous or wealthy. The money is geographically in the west half of the country now. That's the side with growing incomes, growing population etc. The occupied Donbass contains less than 5% of Ukraine's population now and even less of its GDP.

I fully agree Luhansk and Donetsk should leave Ukraine. The sooner the better. I hope this gets put to a referendum.

What kind of treatment they received from Ukrainian government?
Or it doesn't matter since these are not the "wealthy residents?"

Wow another pro-Russian propagandist on Youtube. Yeah, life sucks in Donbas we get that but its their own fault for half of them siding with a Russian invasion. They have learned a good lesson, one would hope.

Millions of Ukrainians are working, buying homes and travelling to Europe on holidays. They aren't going anywhere and have zero desire to change their life to whatever vision these idiots in the east want it to be (slaves for Russian oligarchs).

Just a little video. Ukraine is following the same path as Moldova. Unfortunately this is so. What it all leads to is sad. Positive, only false praise of Western curators.

Chisinau is a dump but this guy is purposefully finding the worse parts of town to shoot his video in. I have been in Russian/Ukrainian cities that had the same looking areas as this. It basically shows the legacy of Soviet Union and the corruption that took over. There are nice parts of the city too. Where you are wrong is that Ukraine is taking the Moldovan path or that these issues are somehow the fault of the West. This nonstop propaganda is just making you guys look weird.

This is not propaganda. It's pain. I know Chisinau well, what it has shown is really the very center. And there is still a lot of sad things, the poor markets are just standing.About former factories, do not say anything. And Ukraine is on this path.To ruin and poverty.Alas.

Ukraine have much more resources for development than Moldova, and more strategic position in geo politics sense. No moldovian way for Ukraine in any case.

More resources? The tougher and more cynical Rob, and it's a bit longer stretch of time. And about the way, so find at least some differences.Everything goes according to the classic scenario. If everything goes as it is, Ukraine will lose control over resources, poverty and debts, debts, debts.

Their real income growth is much faster than Russia's since 2016, their debt to GDP is actually falling too. So unless you think up is down, this can't be true.
