i had a call today on a jobsite concerning some bad hoses on a large ditchwitch (a trench digger) and one of the plumbers using it had an accent. I couldn't quite make it out and asked him where he was from. He said Poland. I said i had been to Warsaw and Russia belarus and all of those places. He said he was Russian and that his family has been in Poland since WWII. He came to the US in 2007. He lived in Krakow.

I learned a few things. His family left Poland, his sister went back to Rostov with his parents before he came to the US. He was in Britain then came here with his American wife. Bad things happened to his family in Poland. His brother was killed, his father was beaten and no one could get a good job because they were discriminated against. Even though he was born in Poland and he was a Polish citizen. I told him about my bad experiences there and he said he's heard of bad things from a lot of Brits.

That's pretty sad, pretty hypocritical. I wonder what else we don't hear about.

Congrats. The Russians did not even qualify. I guess they could not cheat like they did in the Olympics.

"I would like to raise a toast to the health of our Soviet people and, before all, the Russian people.
I drink, before all, to the health of the Russian people, because in this war they earned general recognition as the leading force of the Soviet Union among all the nationalities of our country.
I raise a toast to the health of the Russian people not only because they are the leading people, but also because they have a clear mind, a steadfast character, and endurance.
Our government made more than a few mistakes; at times we were in a desperate situation, when our army fell back... because there was no other escape. Another people might have said to the Government: you have not justified our expectations; go away; we will set up another government, that will make peace with Germany and secure us tranquillity. But the Russian people did not come to this; they believed in the correctness of their government's policy and made sacrifices, to ensure the defeat of Germany. And this trust of the Russian people in the Soviet Government was the decisive strength, which secured the historic victory over the enemy of humanity, -- over fascism.
Thanks to them, to the Russian people, for that trust!
To the health of the Russian people!"

J. Stalin, May 24th, 1945.

Comrade Stalin's toast to the Russian people

P.S. In other Ukrainian news -

"The upcoming Neo-Nazi concert in Ukraine that no one is talking about."

In the first vid where about 320 Porkochunko gets out of the car and walks up the red carpet I think the soldier was trying to get a round off through his head and to make it look like an accident he dropped the rifle. The rest is an act to cover up the deed.

Anyway. I was going through a few old videos and found this exchange in an interview by Simon Ostrovsky. Skip to 5:40 for the stuff. It will show you just what the people of Donetsk were pissed off about. That's the attitude of a bunch od sadists.
