The more Zelensky will be proving that he ain't "Vassiliy Goloborodko" ( i.e. the movie hero many Ukrainians were voting for,) the more South-East will be turning "Blue" (Boyko/Medvedchuk color) instead of "green" ( Zelensky color on the voting map.)
For purely practical reasons.

Just because Putin's stooges name themselves "Opposition" party, doesn't make them the opposition party. That was a crude Manafort trick (his last contribution to Ukraine's politics).

The former party of regions is dead anyway, they will rename themselves again to "For life" party in the upcoming elections. Too bad their ethnic Russian base is dwindling.

Putin's agents overthrew Putin's agents to take power from Putin's agents, and now Putin's agents are in opposition to Putin's agents but can't get the electorate to take power from Putin's agents previously seized power from Putin's agents and then lost the election to other Putin agents. )))) And so on and so on )))))

There is only 1 pro Russian party in Ukraine, who named themselves the "opposition block". Instead it is only 1 of many parties polling around 10% in Ukraine (basically most of the ethnic Russian voting block). A few years back your media was trying to pretend this party didn't exist as only nazis were allowed in Parliament. Now its shown to exist but being presented as the opposition as if its them vs those in power and when the opposition will be voted into power later, it will somehow be this Russian party. Well I'm sorry, but it won't. No amount of Putin schemes will ever get this party anywhere near the power he desires, even if he gives away billions of Russian resources as an incentive. The "pro Russian" south east isn't nearly as pro Russian anymore.

No no no, don't confuse everyone. Putin's agents are in charge everywhere and everything. )))

They are in fact no longer in charge of anything at all in Ukraine since 2014 and it will stay that way. They are happy to make pretend deals with Russia like this one today where Putin so generously allowed Ukraine's products to be shipped to Kazakhstan. What a nice guy.

Keep the Crimea, get out of Donetsk. That would solve 95% of Russia's problems with the world, but you don't have a rational person in charge...

I'd be all for Russia having Donetsk but unfortunately many of the people in Donetsk don't agree so they will continue to fight.

Wrong. Most of the Ukrops in the Donbas are imports from the western Ukraine. PHony toughs, drunks, mercs and losers, misguided "patriots" and village idiots along with some murderers. Not much else.

The vast majority of Ukrainian citizens don't care and/or desire peace and stability in their country, not the chaos of war.

If the junta in kiev really wants peace they can start by turning over the perpetrators of this ongoing atrocity. Porkochunko, Turchynov, Paruby need to be turned over to DNR/LNR authorities for persecution along with a good number more that took part in the mess. Then maybe we can talk of peace.

That just proves you don't know anything about Ukraine at all. There are few Western Ukrainians in the volunteer battalions in the Donbas, and many of the people in the west would be happy to shed the region from their country if it truly meant it would keep Russia out of their nation's affairs. The vast majority of Azov battalion are Easterners.
