Oh stop it already DKM.
The time for true referendums is long gone.
Like, for example, when people were demanding referendum on land sales. ( You remember what they've got instead, don't you?
)
No, when the Nazi are running the streets under personal command of Zelensky, he is talking about the "all-Ukrainian referendum on Donbass," and "how to resolve the conflict and to return the lands to Ukraine."
Since the Nationalists refused to follow the Minsk agreement decisions.
So quit pretending already.
Another so-called "referendum" that Zelensky keeps in mind is regarding oligarchs. The "wrong kind of oligarchs" minding you, the kind that are *undesirable* for the US specifically.

Authoritarianism is arresting all your opponents from running in elections and then rigging them anyway. Ukraine has definitely anti Ze people who were elected and even a few very pro Russians. There are 5 main political parties sharing power in parliament who don't like each other much at all. That isn't what an authoritarian would allow.

Zelensky's "Servant of the People" party created a united voting block with Poroshenko's "European choice" long time ago already, ( their main "opponent" you know, he-he,) the rest is insignificant.

You all hate him because he wants to do what Ukrainians want: turn into a rules based European style country. That is a direct threat to the Belarus and Russia model of government, the same as south korea is a threat to the North and Taiwan is to Communist China.

This would be great actually, but instead Ukraine is turning more and more into the lawless dumpster, which would be half of a problem, if not for all the murdered and *disappearing* people and Nazi that rule the streets.
