Too many people run their mouths off when they lack the technical knowledge of how this stuff works, politicians in particular.

I have a feeling that will not happen. Either we will have "stupidified" ourselves to extinction by then or the civil war will have been fought and the current suicide cult cabal will have been removed from power.

What "suicide cult cabal"? I haven't seen any evidence of that. There are people that want us to stop driving pollution and carbon emitting vehicles. There's nothing wrong with wanting to make the environment better. And, California still has bad air in the most populated places. There's a lot not to like about California and its politics. This is not one of the topics that's just plain crazy.

Yep.

I agree this is a bad idea, but it is true that Ford and GMC already had this plan in place. I dont think most people realize this, basically, this is the law following what business has already decided.

Actually, you've got it backwards. The CAFE standards set by the Obama administration, along with standards set in other countries set this in motion.

America ceased to be a free country when people were fired for not getting vaccinated against a disease, had their businesses shut down for a year, and were required to wear masks for 2 years.

Who else remembers when California put MTBE in gasoline "for the environment"? They refused to do anything about it until the rich people in South Lake Tahoe started screaming about how their water was becoming polluted with MTBE because it ate through gasoline storage tanks and leaked into the groundwater.

Thanks CARB.
