Awwww, that's so nice of you! I always laughed at myself when I entered that but then I thought, boy, wouldn't it be nice to actually win! Never in a million years thinking I really might.
Naw, I won't let it go to my head. lol For now it's going into the savings account. I STILL have to write that check on closing day! It's like getting my appraisal fee back! Almost. Can't believe how expensive that was!

Thank you for a great post. And the congrats! I found CD 'accidently' myself and was pleasantly surprised to see how many forums it had going. I've actually been around since 2007 but had to change my member name, etc. in 2009.
I have learned a LOT in these forums. There has always been somebody to answer questions and just reading of other's experiences teaches a lot sometimes. I like the people who 'hang out' here and you get to know everyone over time so you learn what to expect from them.

It did come at a good time though. I had just returned from having an MRI that's going to cost me $300.
I was feeling pretty depressed about things and then I looked on CD and YIKES!
Good timing, huh? Well, I just found out where mine is going. Homeowners insurance. I thought that was already activated but I guess not. I'll pay it today and then replace it when that check comes. Yeeehaw! lol Oh...and lender says we may close the 20th! Only one more week.
