My dad just arrived in CT. He can't get over how nothing is blooming yet. No leaves or flowers.
We've got trees and bushes getting their greenery, and green grass, and that blazing yellow forsythia everywhere. Our yard is landscaped with evergreen bushes so we have that greenery year-round. Anyone want any hostas???
Love Hosta, left some beauties behind when we moved
We had a humongous hosta on the back of our yard in NY. We used to tease there was probably a dead body there. My brother who digs for bottles as a hobby, said more likely it is the site of an old outhouse. Abandoned outhouses make for good bottle digging since people got rid of bottles by throwing them down the hole. Apparently they are a great for fertilizing too.
